Hello, this is my 1st thread.
I put it in discussions. It’s also not a bug or a issue.
Why don’t new events on beta show up on mobile on the beginning of an event, they only show up like 5 days before the event ends.
Doesn’t the players on mobile get to test new event features and report issues when it encounters?
By the time the event gets on mobile most of the issues are already fixed or resolved.
 
It's an age old debate. Inno's reply was the version data is incompatible with the event. When an event is released on the beta server (browser), the version is higher than the live version. The mobile version (not the beta one) is always the same version as live, hence why it doesn't show up on the mobile app even when on the beta server.

The beta app is a cumbersome pain in the proverbial rear end. First, because Inno uses the same name for both the beta app and regular app. You would think they would name their apps separately so it won't interfere with people's mobile devices, especially when it comes to regular/scheduled updates. Second, you have to update the app manually to get the latest as by automatic means would have it update to the latest regular app version instead; also means you have to disable the automatic updates on the beta app so you won't have that happen.

I no longer play on the mobile for those reasons (among others) alone. My response to Inno (at that time) was to update both beta and live to the same version before releasing the beta event.
