@xivarmy had stated, I, too, had to work on both stats as I was in guilds that didn't give me any breathing room (I had a lot of red, but little blue at the time; so you can wonder when someone will clear a blue node so I can progress) and when I returned, I was in the same road block because that someone cleared it, but also cleared others that prevented me from going further until reset (imagine staring the blue boss node dead in the face while it laughs at you). A lot of action points were wasted by just sitting there, hoping someone would clear out that obstacle so I can progress further. Time (and drama) later, my friends and I decided to make our own guild and kept on helping each other.
Then again, I wasn't getting no more than just 3k progress points (if lucky) each incursion at the time that I had to consult some solid guides to see where I had gone wrong and it was evident that I was building tier 2 buildings after collecting from the first set. After making a few runs with xiv's guide, I decided to make a few modifications to see if I can get more progress since donating wasn't necessarily my thing (all this power and nothing to let it onto is a waste in my opinion). I was able to fight my way through VIII before needing decos to see if I can fight through IX, X, XI, and ultimately XII. However, the costs for erecting a Nautical Statue is 400k/300k/750 that will give me 30/30 on R/B, and I was building on both since we all went hunting on the map, but I didn't want to be stuck anymore. I had a grid set at 25 expansions owned, but that was expensive (mostly on the goods and shards to remove impediments) to build, so I decided to settle on just the 20 to be owned and just build around it. This time, I took notes with each collection (well, except for the important data of how much on that collection I would get to which I do when it comes again so it will be complete) on what to do and how to go about it.
If I wasn't so OCD with things, I would go a little beyond the 6k that I am coasting to; but, I also saw that I didn't have to spend all Sunday night until the end grinding to that mark like I had done in the past; so better sleep for me, I guess.
