Feedback Quantum Incursions update

FoE = Fragments of Empires.
Oh, alright, I will go with this one then.
Inno did perform with the first big change a conversion of the dead fragments. Why not making that good move a systematic one?
The best systematic move would omit the year and season and just call it the QI Epic Selection Kit. This way, we won't have to worry about clutters of fragments in our inventories, Inno won't have to try and bust their brain in converting old fragments to new ones (if that's still a thing), and I think it is much easier to just add the latest buildings to the kit when they come available. Typically, it would be after a championship ends (6 seasons). If there are folks gunning for a certain kind, they will have to wait long until it gets released in the kit for them to use it.

That would only solve dead epic kit fragments issue but we would still get dead fragments of the 2 "championship x" buildings.

Seems like Inno is working hard to ruin a popular feature. FPs gone from final reward chests. more useless Neo buildings The new trials seem to just make it harder to reach the final nodes so that seems to be a step back.
I don't really care about the neo buildings but removing the FPs in favor of Quantum Medals is a good change. Cannot buy expansions with FPs.

OK, no major changes to enemy AD, very positive,
1) letting people grow their AD and not designing it for the ones that are at the top, VERY POSITIVE
2) the map changes are actually good, an additional donate node, 4 in row versus 3, plus, after the garrison, players with less AD can do normal nodes versus the BOSS. many times the BOSS has battles where you lose a unit
3) REWARDS - well, I didn't break out the pencil and paper bag but the kiosk looks like an aviary rotated, both with GE bonus. The Magnum is GBG based with a blue extra. Overall, will help some and others maybe not but I do not think they are a complete waste.
4) NO FPs and replaced with medals I think is good. We can get FPs everywhere but those medals only in QI. So, again, top QI players may have completed medals expansion but I would guess the overwhelming majority has not, so a positive.

Wow, I give this next championship a big plus.

I know fragments have been mentioned but, being the world leading expert in fragments (see description below..lol), we are getting them in every aspect of the game so I have gotten used to wasted fragments. Not happy about it. What can be done, as a suggestion, make a reward that is a wildcard, fragments that can be applied to all the rewards below the 2 new rewards, Kiosk and Magnum. It can be scaled to avoid abuse, like getting many more neo checkmates. So, if the L12 reward is 120 fragments, maybe 60 of the wild card? Maybe at a 5 or 10% reward rate? Some design where if you wanted to get a L2 checkmate, it would take 1 whole championship at 5000 progress. This reward not given as a chest or season reward, has to be gotten by playing. This would be 2000 fragments and I would be able to clean up a lot of those buildings, and just have wildcard left. It could even end up being 1000 fragments per championship. Then next championship, include Kiosk and Magnum.

The FP rewards, I agree that we can get them elsewhere (just not with the latest event since they didn't include any in the buildings they were offering) so I am not too concerned about them.

The medals do come in handy since I no longer spend for the pass (or until Inno decides to gather what sense and fix them back to what we had before that mess happened), so I can welcome this addition.

Now, I am hoping they did not mess with what we had in this last week or two, but I won't hold my breath on it. There was some kind of hope of doing QI, even on the last days of it, but that's like wishing to win the lottery that will never come.

your calculations are absolutely correct!!! on day 11 - 5000 active actions are restored every hour for everyone + 24 villas + 21 cottages + 1800 from city buildings (total 13700 every hour) 22 hours is 300+ thousand active points + during the season I received 1900+ shards and spent 450 to buy another 100 thousand active actions ... since this is the last season and I only need 1500 to open 6 chests
amateur though I wouldn't mind comparing notes. I use holly haulers to make myself get over 80 villas by thursday (the best rewards are later in the incursion, so this way I make 14 neo checkmate square upgrades per incursion). I've found if I spent 5100 shards on expansions alone (up to the 700 shard expansion) when the incursion starts, I can make back that many shards for the next incursion, so that leaves me spending just on the first incursion of the championship.

on live I have 14 L2 neo checkmate squares in my city with another 16 SK's in my inventory

Annoyed if there's no pass changes. I maxed out my quantum expansions a long time ago. The only reason I still play is for the neo checkmate squares, neo tactician towers and whatever that new GBG building is called on the upcoming one. Now my neo tactician towers won't be coming anymore because they'll be in the same reward slot as the neo checkmate square, which is superior ignoring the lack of FP., which the new building also doesn't have (wth?)

Everyone else wants quantum medals because they haven't over-achieved like me, and I get crapped on every time I bring this up, but a simple solution would be to have quantum medals in half the slots and double the amount, so the amount is the same for the same amount of progress, and put something useful in the freed up slot. The amount of reward slots taken up by quantum medals right now is ridiculous and alienates anyone in my position. I get 400 fragments of a useful reward every two pages. Eventually more people will be in my position, then what happens to the pass revenue? most other people won't be building cities that do 48k actions/hour that allows them to justify still getting the quantum pass once they're also only benefitting from one item every two pages.

We are discussing and highlighting achievements here under the condition of free beta server play, and your city on the beta server is just a beginner's city and is far from even reaching the amateur level and in no case can it generate 48,000 active actions every hour, and how much you spent on passes and where and whether you got the maximum expansions anywhere are only your problems.

1) There's no rule that information posted here has to be restricted to information gathered from the beta server
2) Being on the beta server, and therefore having access to several weeks more content than I have had on the US production servers, should put your max capabilities ahead of mine, so that kind of counters your "free beta play" condition.

Starting out saying "Amateur" was a joke, the rest of my message showed clear intent to engage in strategy with someone who's apparently like minded in maximizing results. But hey have fun being an elitest, maybe we could have learned something from each other, I guess not with that attitude.

WE spoke one time and the Holly approach. Since QI has not fundamentally changed, I am going to double CS% to 16%. I want to take a small step just to see what I benefit. Also, my city is HMA small. My goal would be a little different. I would like to see how much faster I can get AD going, via CS % improvements. If I get to more auto battles L6-10, this would make QI better for me. I would like to maintain an inventory to be able to do this at least 3 championships. I don't have any settlement buildings, Poly close to done, then the dreaded Vikings, but I have good Red AD stats. I am fine doing 5000 progress per season as a minimum for now. I know I can do some things with goods too, to get the early expansions done cost effectively.

psst Inno, QI not open yet, the "honey, going to the bathroom, be right back" line has a time limit...lol

hopefully they're delaying it to fix the bug that live servers have with all of the fights being 1 wave since Wednesday's update
though I don't know why that'd require delaying the start since it's basically difficulty 1 battles anyways

I kind of liked the 1-wave approach as it gave little hope of doing QI, especially with this Mad Hatter Tea Party / Speed Dating difficulty change (daily).

When Facing Horse Units
Me (in the past): "Oh, here comes some punks on horses that Inno keeps bringing with each fight, back to back".
Me (after seeing 1-wave battles): "Here comes those punks on...." *boom* (done already).

Speaking of which, this thing is going to delay all of us for that maddening 10 hour time to which some of us woke up just to get the settlement going so we can return back to collect later when done, let alone trying to get the first drop on the first level before it changes at reset, thus costing us some action points in the process.
