Feedback Quantum Incursions update

This is done very simply, only full (FULL!!!) guilds should be admitted to any guild championship (let's say 10% of the maximum number of participants - min 8 members) it's just ridiculous when guilds with one member complain that it is very difficult for them to compete against a full guild and demand privileges!!! if the player plays in an incomplete guild, he can receive a tenth of the prize (not 100 shards, but 10)
In theory, all guilds should have 70+ members, but people is so selfish and dumb and preffer be part of little guilds thinking that they have the right of compete in equal conditions against a 70+ members guilds.

Ok but 70 players doing nothing won't change much!

Receive better rewards than before, without the need of defeating a boss and yet, feel bad about that has 0 logic.
It has some logic. It's a natural feeling to want to "accomplish" something. Which the new system is more like comparing who ran the furthest on a treadmill. It's not about "going" anywhere.

I happen to agree that the new system is more favorable to me than before. Though I'm still overall of the perspective "scrap QI, build something fun instead". But that ship's probably sailed :p

But I do understand how the missing accomplishment of a benchmark of "completed X level" is going to sap the motivation for a particular type of player.

---

If they're sticking with this new general system, I think they need to find a better way to visualize the treadmill progress than the simple table you get pulling up the rankings. Something that will stress your position in the "race" in comparison to nearby competitors and make it more visible (like on the map without hitting a button) so that instead of "come on guys, we almost got the boss", the achievement oriented crowd can point to something like "we've almost caught the guild above us guys! Just need a few more hits!".

A day by day ranking change would also be good to be visualized "up 2 ranks since yesterday", "down 5 ranks since yesterday".

---

Some additional differentiation in placement rewards would also be helpful. Not really an overall increase, just more steps - so where now we have:

1st
2nd
3rd
4th-10th
11th-20th
21st-30th
31st-50th
51st-100th
101st and lower

we could use the current rewards as benchmarks and gradually transition between them instead. Give interpolated rewards in each range, along the same overall curve, so that they can see a difference for raising their rank inside it. It's often an order of magnitude to jump up the next tier, which can look out of reach and discouraging. But if you get a (smaller) improvement for just improving 1 spot then you might gradually improve to the point where the next tier doesn't look unreasonable.

This is the same problem PvP arena has, if you wanted to care about the rankings. You made 500th! Nothing changes til 50th! So why not just take it easy and hold top 500.

Evergreen was a league building, Captain Bao's was a calendar reward.
EverGreen was league building. But the bronze and silver league gave a qi bonus too. That is 20% of players.
Captain Bao was calendar, but with the boost introduced in that event it was possible to get it for free (I did in 6 different worlds). The same applies to the new calendar reward in Winter which again gives blue qi bonus.

Quite different from a gold league only building -> 1% of players, mostly (all?) diamonds users.

Note: the trick to get the calendar reward is to use the boosters to finish Rival and any remaining booster to get more keys. If you uncover the special reward in the super board you can see the 2x (spyglass/toy radar). Use Sleight combo on show two to show as many reward as possible until you see the key. Use both 2x and Sleight Combo to get 4x keys in one reward. Repeat until you get all the keys for the calendar. If you low on Sleight Combo you can use the Snowball Blast/Cannonball to eliminate the other reward so you can use the 2x when you have only the key behind the uncovered gift.

I would like also to point out, that the mentioned settlement buildings are really hard to get. I play since a year (on live) and use even diamonds (in moderate quantity) to speed up in crucial parts of settlements. I was able to finish vikings, japan and Egyptian settlements (I'm on the first loop of aztecs, and its a chore, I will never understand why they took the x4% from the minigame) and yes, I have some bonuses, but it took really a long time --> in the meantime I got to the last age, finished the researches, almost the story line and conquered the whole map.
Settlements are for sure nothing for a newborn city.

No Inno is blind thats the reasen they can not read there own forum. They dont care about it but this time they have killed the cow who gives the most milk.
I don't think they did much responding even a few years back before they got bought out by a money mill company, to wildly unpopular ideas. But back then there were enough players to hit a solid 70 pages of all negative posts.

There was a period, around GBG's release, where they were experimenting with having developers actually post on the forum (at least GBG and a couple settlements that i remember had a lot of direct interaction). It was nice. But rumor was that it wasn't so nice for them.

Yeah, I think that being a Dev on the Forum would kind of be like being a test dummy in a vehicle safety test. No matter what you do you're going to take a beating.

Nice, now we have an inventory button in QI that open a limited verison with just the object relevant for qi (potions and troop set).

I'll not use it. But it's a nice idea.

Discord is better I guess? :p I feel like it's worse because it's all random haterade rather than specific about a feature like it is here. Very easy to ignore a very specific thread.

A lot of people don't even think the people who program the game play the game which is a problem. See it every week in here and in game. I'm not sure after the restructuring if thats the case.

If we were able to keep the QI city for the championship, that'd be a game changer for sure. Not sure if inno will go for it but I'm sure people will spend a dime on more expansions, be more invested in their city. A lot more life in the last round for sure.

For this incursion, I didn't plop down the tailor as it takes 2 butcher spots for the same supply output. I was more into trying to get stuff within the 10 hours at 150%.

My city (each time, at start)
• 3 x Amphitheater
• 4 x Roof Tile House
• 5 x Butcher

I have to have two collections (a full day's worth) going so I can get enough to build the first Arch and sell off my amphitheaters, had sped up my arch by paying 50 shards (I know I will get them back somehow). I decided to add the tailor during the time of reset (upon coming home from a long day at work) so it can be ready by morning when I wake.

My city (first Arch)
• 1 x Triumphal Arch (sold Amphitheater x 3)
• 6 x Roof Tile House (added 2 x Roof Tile House)
• 5 x Butcher
• 1 x Tailor

Weekend is here and I didn't have to work, so collected from all my buildings, and have to decide: military (fighting) or goods (donating/expansions). I wanted to get on the board and I am still NOT A FAN of the Mad Hatter Tea Party/Speed Dating spiel that is the daily change of difficulty by automatic means, so I went with military and churned out 40 ballistas. I only lost 10 of them in those skirmishes, so more for me as I am down for the count (ran out of action points).

And, now for the specifics:

Military Might (QI Version)
145%/55% Attack/Defense for Attacking Army
145%/55% Attack/Defense for Defending Army

Yes, I dropped in the Forgotten Temple this time around. Next Sunday, I will drop in the 2nd one, so it will be somewhat better for me. Last incursion, I didn't drop one in because I want to do something a little different in overlapping the FTs and keep them going so there will always be two deployed (replacing each as I get a fully built FT from GE-5) that will give me 100% in both modes along with a 40% FP increase (win-win, right?). Since I know my max would be level 9 (as if I will try 10 to 12, not yet, Inno), and since at this stage, I will have a bye-week before putting in the 2nd building, I am not holding my breath on Inno changing the set up to at pace once they know they done mucked up since I get a lot of static from the live side that they were not happy with such, either.

But, first they need to fix their QI as the nodes did not go into clear status, leaving 10 points open while opening the other nodes connected to it. An exploit waiting to happen? I don't know and I won't test that theory, either.

If we have no donation nodes after clear the first one in the last 3 levels of difficulty, then there is no way low attack players can spend their quantum actions. High level players in a guild will be alone while most part of that guild will just sit down.

The low attack players have had 9 days of being able to feed on donation nodes. There needs to be something to motivate them to build up their boosts.
