First of all: I am a player, I cannot know everything.

I know this much: the bug you are talking about was hot fixed after it first appeared. It seems to have reappeared, but then again, I do not see a bug report for it on here. If you want stuff forwarded quickly, use the appropriate forums, please. Thank you :)

right now there is an error (we don't know if it's the 420 or 1 million error) in our main worlds
there are people who have invested time and money in quantum nonsense and all you're saying is to report? shouldn't you have fixed it before we got to this point?

This is the beta forum though. If bugs aren't caught here on beta or by the QA and development teams, these issues can unfortunately appear.

and since the company knows it's a bug.. why haven't we received any updates for 2 months?
we have spent money diamonds...
(when it ends and after the boss you have a node with 420 progress and the other 1 million)

One with 1,000,000 progress (Drake Mountain map option) while the other with 420 progress (Dragon Valley map option). I note here that, both are Defense nodes!

Wow, ok thanks. It doesn't mean bugs don't come back.

One thing that would help, tell us what the values should be
Node donations for CS, units, goods per level, progress needed to level nodes per level, rewards per level for normal, advanced and boss node PER LEVEL.

If I do not know the specification then I am hesitant to report a bug because I do not know something is wrong.

EXAMPLE:

  • Pass: Added a new Quantum Pass, replacing the current one!
Should say At 4500, 5300 (the 2 I know) (and every 800 progress afterwards is my guess), we removed the 100 shard reward and replaced it with 200 fragments (1000 needed) for the QI Summer 2024 epic selection kit.

Oh, that reminds me, some feedback, I will assume we get them every 800 starting at 4500
4500, 5300, 6100, 6900, 7700 we lose 500 shards (all 100 shard rewards replaced). Why don't you target the colossus selection kit? Think about it this way. If we are active in this feature, we will have plenty of those selection kits. Taking our shards, OUR QI CURRENCY, is a tacky move. 500 shards allows us to do some things, if one choses, that help with city development, like rushing a goods building for 25 shards. Also, since you refuse to make impediments 10, 25, 50, 50, ...the rest 50, for regular players, then it can help pay for that 75 shard impediment. Also, I posted before, can we know how much the next impediment costs like we have in settlements?

I'm trying to confirm that those fragment DO appear in the repeating part.

My major issue with those fragments is that most of them will obviously be uselss. Since the name (old name was 2024-3) suggest that they will change EVERY championship. So any left over cannot be used.

Clearly a move intended to please golden pass buyers. They get 500 fragments, so at most they have one useless collection. We might end up with as many as 800 spare fragments and that would be very annoying.
Silver buyers are probably going to be annoyed too.

BTW the new name is going to sound strange in live server since Summers in the northen emisphere end offically on the 31st of August (note: metereology summer not astrophisic summer which ends on the 20th of September).

everyone probably assumed that it was supposed to be like that ;)

and since they knew it was bug!!!!
why did they let us buy the gold or silver pass?
I feel that I was misled by the company and was not treated fairly....
 
I don't understand. The beta announcement says that this and next championship are only 5 season to keep the gap with live to react to feedback.
But in the live announcement the next championship is just 4 season! That will reduce the gap at the end of this season.

I have no idea of what is a bug and what isn't.
I'm trying to collect donation cost for different levels. Until 1 week ago it looked like the good donation cost was 2 x level and the coin/supply was 4100 x level. This was strange since the accouncement of this championship said that donation costs were reduced. But this was the same cost as in the Drake championship (except the one season when the cost were completely wrong). But this season the cost seems to be less (half?).

Is the cost in this season a bug? Is the announcemtn wrong? Was the donation cost in previous season a bug?
Reporting bugs would be easier if the expected values were published in the knowledge base so we can compare with what we find in game.

I didn't report the donation cost being the same because the same announcement says that:
Actions: Reduced the overall number of Quantum Actions needed to clear all ten difficulties.
This might even be true, but the actual changes in action required to clear each level are:
  • level 1: +21%
  • level 2: +39%
  • level 3: +23%
  • level 4: +26% (edit)
  • level 5: +5%
And those values are BEFORE taking into consideration that in multiple level in Drake we chould complete a level duing only a fraction of the total nodes available (example: level 3 required just 1 army/normal, 1 liutenant/advance and 1 boss = 23% of total nodes required progress in level 3; level 4 half the node could be skipped) while the new maps do not allow to skip* any node for the first 3 level.
Only on level 4 there are 3 node that can be skipped in Hydra. This doesn't include the 2 Stronghold node in level 3 and 1 in level 5 that can be "Skipped".

* a choice between two path is not a skip of any node since only one of the two path can be done, the other doesn't count at all. So, for choices, only one of the two path is included in the total action/progress of the level.

If yall are planning on making the cost of quantum actions reset each season instead of daily it better start at 25 or something really low. Put out a survey and ask players before doing lame stuff like that. That will not help QI if it's the plan, dont make it more boring for the people who want to go all out while hurting the daily casual players who don't invest as much.
 
It took me a little bit to notice but I finally understand why we now have 2 bosses.
It's because all the randomness in the map was completely removed.

In drake maps the node configuration was set and which node where normal/advanced/boss was pre-set. But which normal node was donation and which was army, wasn't set. And so the colour were random. The total of each type of normal node (resources donation/good donation/army/troop donation) was also set.
But this left the system open to the aleged issue with different maps allowing different amount of progress before map end.

In hydra the individual nodes are all set in both type and colour. So the first node on level 2 is always a resources (coin/supply) donation node.
And in level 1 one branch has 2 goods donation node and the other doesn't have any. While the other branch has 2 more red army nodes.

But that was done without reducing the number of normal nodes to compensate for the additional progress required by the double boss node. An avarage increase of 27% on the first 4 levels.

Suggestion for next championship: reduce the normal nodes by one in the first 4 levels.
 
This is bad, really BAD!

Most of the changes (edit: for the 4th championship just announced) are not a big deal.
For some reason the progress for individual action get constantly inflated, now 10.

It doesn't actually matter in isolation, because it's the balance that matter. BUT the higher it get the more scary the feature becomes for new players.
The first chest is at 2k progress. That is actually just 200 action across the guild (now a group effort), BUT new player might not know it until they actually pay attention. So it seems more like an unreachable goal. If the progress per action was 1 and the chest was 1/10 (and the milestone were at 25) it wouldn't change ANYTHING! But it would seems more reachable to players.

Opening a new level was annoying but the solution is worst:
With the 4th Championship, we are introducing the automatic difficulty change. It means that the currently active difficulty will change to the next automatically every day at midnight server time, regardless of whether the previous difficulty Boss was defeated.
This is the very really part.
It means that big guild are not affected (those that already reached level 8-10 previously).
But smaller guild will now need to be able to fight nodes from much more advanced level. And if they can't after day 5 (depend on the guild) the incursion ends. Because the enemy will increase it's strength by more than 10% EVERY day after the 7th!

At least I should get some silver and gold fragment for neo colossus with the new incursion, even in I'm not in a competitive guild.

The 3rd championship made concentrating on red or blue a losing strategy in smaller guild (both color of bosses on each level and alternated color nodes). This 4th one will make the incursion shorter, once we cannot progress.

have hard time getting members to play for 2000 fp an you changeing it to 750 just as well give up
FP are so easy to come by these days that 2,000 FP as a reward for 3 months work is a pittance.
The other rewards (Quantum medals and Colossus kits) are what matter imo.

I really wonder how the update will shake up QI because it is a massive change. The last few days I won't be able to fight and I will become a spectator. Same for almost everyone on the server who does not have the settlement reward buildings.

Forcing next level every day will trash smaller guilds esp those that just get to L4 or 5 by the end of the season. It will also trash good players that do not have all the settlement buildings.

You brag about giving us the Mythical Manor (30% blue A) and Phantom Asylum (15% red A),
First we have to play the event, fine. It is 30% attack increase maximum, since it is only blue. 30% gets us a bit more but will be gone fast in L7.

Those that got more involved will just say forget it. In beta, we get to L7 or 8. I struggle in L6 until my city income is able to produce enough AD to make the battles doable (note: no auto battle). Looking at L10 for the 2nd to last day, I will not even be close. The last day is when all the hard work from all the settlement development becomes enjoyable. Not anymore. I have played at high levels on live so I know what it takes. This means why even bother with QI and I have been very pro QI. I will read the rest of the announcement. After reading the first part I figured I would post my negative feedback ASAP.

This move will make QI more of an exclusive club. I do not think bad about the players that can do it. In fact, I think it is great. But they are a small percent. If you think this will get people to spend diamonds to get more QI attack, not me. All I see you do is move the goal post further back. I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football and Inno is Lucy the place holder. For those of you not up to speed on my analogy, watch this clip.
