Implemented QoL: Be able to use FP packs in Tech Tree

Reason
The only way to use FP in the tech tree is to have it in your bar which is a big inconvenience in later ages when they require hundreds of FP and you can only put 100FP in packs into the bar at a time.
Details
Just like donating to a GB, the game will use packs from your inventory to put the exact amount you designate in. The tech tree should work the same and allow you to spend FP in your inventory as well as the bar.

Summary
Configure the tech tree window similarly to the GB contribution window to allow a player to directly donate a specified amount (or all of it) from a pool of the players bar FP and FP packs.

I did a light search yes....
I know most people arn't moving through the ages, but one of the most inconvenient parts of going to a new age is manually filling your bar with FP packs to unlock techs. The FP bar is limited to only 100FP so you have to fill the bar, go into the tree, donate the 100, go back to your inventory, unpack 100FP, go into the tree, donate the 100, repeat ad nauseum for some THOUSANDS amount of FP the whole age requires.

If the tech require 250 FPs then it will require 25 clicks for 10 FP each. The proposal is to be able to type 250 and then with just one (1) click to use them.

I would go for this in a heartbeat!

And, of course, going for buying forge points with coin by inputting the number of points instead of clicking a button each time (which is very slow in the PC version). Then again, it would probably require massive amounts of code to calculate (with the incremental costs) the total cost in coin to get that.

  2. Game calculates total cost and displays amount of coins to be charged.
  3. Player press a button to accept total costs and confirm FP purchase, or return to step 1 and enter a new amount of FPs to buy. Or enter 0 FPs to cancel purchase.

Heh heh. Exactly. Of course, they could have the cancel (or X) button to leave the FP screen without making a purchase, if it is much easier.

Glad this got implemented, especially so quickly. This will for sure making the game better and more consistent.
 
There is no rule against judging or just pointing out that if an idea is already implemented, then the idea location is the Archive / Implemented folder.
Not the same case for judging if an idea has DNSL issues or not.

If you feel this should be moved, report it.
Reporting, as you suggested, the idea for reclassification into the corresponding folder. Thanks.
 
Yes, like that, I have made errors in the past. And I have learned from them. (That was from August 2020, has you found another from this year?)

Still, there is no rule against pointing out that an idea needs to be relocated to the Archive / Implemented folder.
