Probably because you started late - if you start QI e.g. on Saturday instead of Thursday you will lag behind by two stages the whole time and end on X instead of XII

My guildies say the system opens a new level every day, regardless whether the level was completed or not. I can confirm this, yesterday we were on lvl 10, with barely 1 node finished and this morning it is now lvl 11!

The same here restarts the level each day

The level doesn't "restart".
You start the next level of difficulty (see roman numeral in top left corner) but most level have the same map (at least 1 to 9).

Tomorrow you might notice that you start a new level but the map has changed. Level 10 to 12 have the same map that is different from the one for the first 9 levels.

Thank you for explaining, as we are a small guild we do not get into the map far each day making it boring repeating the same map peace's we will have to decide to carry on with QI or not Thanks again.

Maps 1 to 9 have the same layout, just different AA/AD/DA/DD percentages of the enemy army for different nodes. Maps 10 to 12 have less nodes but are the same of their own as well (with He-Man/She-Ra percentages for the enemy armies).
