I do not play the arena, but I heard of the following behavior:
- Attempts are not set to 5 when the season starts
- extra attempts from the attempts chest are awarded at midnight with season start
Considering that a regular active player would have no attempts left at 10pm Sundays, this would lead to the situation though, that players receiving 2 attempts would gain only one attempt (5 attempts instead of 4 in the morning) and players receiving 5 attempts might effectively get 1 or two attempts (5 or 6 instead of 4 in the morning).
To correct that, attempts should be set to 5 attempts on beginn of the season (before the reward is given) or the attempts should be awarded at the time of the first login of the day.
