New Idea Preserving the Age for Ascended Buildings

Arkantos

Farmer
Reason
The building upgrade is temporary, but the age change is permanent.
Details
During ascension, the building’s age should remain the same, or players should have an option to keep the current age or upgrade it to the current age.
Balance
This would only apply to ascended buildings.
Abuse Prevention
Players would be able to place more ascended buildings that require population.
Summary
After applying a temporary upgrade, buildings often have to be removed due to the significantly increased population requirement. This creates considerable inconvenience and often makes temporary boosts ineffective.
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
yes
Currently, many interesting buildings come with an ascended version. However, when a temporary upgrade is applied, the building's age also advances. The upgrade is temporary, but the age change is permanent. Could it be possible to keep the building's original age unchanged? When a building's age increases, it requires more population. For instance, in the Bronze Age, the Vagabond Library requires 170 population, while in the Colonial Age, it requires 1,290. As a result, using temporary upgrades becomes quite unprofitable, as the buildings often have to be removed afterward.

Initially downvoted, but on second thoughts, YES.

I like to retain population monsters like the Vagabond Library in as low an era as possible, and recently ran into an issue where I was not able to ascend one of them despite having the kit because then it would bring it several ages up and eat up tremendous amount of population. Same goes for Pigsty and Royal Carriages.
