Thursday

  • Added a warning to the store building to inform players they will lose unlocked slots on military buildings
  • HTML5 - With today's update, we introduce a significant change to the way Forge of Empires is rendered in the HTML5 version. To give you some insights without becoming too technical: we are now loading assets in batches, as opposed to leading them individually. Our goal was to make loading faster. We have spent quite some time on polishing it in the last weeks, and tests that we have made in the last days indicate that the new rendering method is now in a usable state and that it's performance is better than the old one.
However, with the basically infinite number of existing hardware configurations, there is of course a possibility that something goes wrong in certain circumstances. That is why we would like to ask you to make sure you are using the HTML5 version on browser, and give us some feedback on how it feels :). If you experience troubles, please be so kind and mention your hardware information, as well as OS, its version and the browser you are using.
We are looking forward to your comments in this thread: click!
