Already Suggested One Down Kit

Retired Guy

Marquis
Reason
Treasury , and goods management. Just like "real world" , you should be able to produce previous era goods at your discretion.
Details
Exactly the opposite of the One Up Kit, the One Back kit would take the building back one era.
Balance
It provides the ability to balance treasury donations, and previous goods inventory. Depending on your game style (heavy GBG, farmer, etc), you would have the ability to build, or upgrade a building, and then have it produce goods one era back.
Abuse Prevention
I don't believe there's a way to abuse production of previous goods. They , and their production exist in many other places in the game.
Summary
A One Down Kit... simply the opposite of a One Up Kit.
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
Looked, didn't find anything
Many times it would be useful to take a building back one (or more) era's. We have many building that will produce goods for the previous era, but it's hard (impossible?) to get treasury goods donated for anything but the current era if you build new, or upgrade an existing building.

Long requested and rejected. The developers don't like the idea that people want to reduce the era of buildings. It causes them philosophical hurt that people do not always consider higher era to be better.

But yes, it'd be a nice option situationally if they were open to it.

Just for goods, it is not needed because you can construct the goods building of the previous age/era in the city whenever needed.

Making a goods building is not wise suggestion so opting for "one down kit" on event buildings is clearly making the game easier for all.

Also attack and defense power in the event building will be reduced. Why you want to reduce the city power because of goods.

On curiosity expecting the details for the below question.

How the one down kit react for special buildings from "bronze" age to "stone" age? It should be alerting some message for sure, but what will be the message to inform the user.
Is it like,
"you cannot down your level to take the stone in the hand";)

and we need the opposite of the reno-kit: the bronze age kit :D

imagine:
you are in SAJM and want you want the building in an early age
that woulnd need MANY one down kits
but much less one ups after you downgrade it directly to bronze age

and there are already many ways to get one ups. you get them faster than one down kits would be available
