Next new Great Building

how that can work is 1 expansion every level till level 9 then 2 expansions at level 10. After that it can be 1 expansion every 10 levels.

Maybe they can release a GB that allows players to have a chance at getting Forge Points for every player they aid. Higher levels will not only increase the chance of getting FPs but also the amount of FPs gained from each AID. The passive bonus could be defence that works like deal castle and st basils.

I would be against that.... I'd rather have economy based increases instead of even more means to gain FP.

or how about an expansion GB
it gives one expansion per level

and if a player sells it the city will implode (because of losing the expansions)

This might be possible, if these expansions will be 1x1 (not classical 4x4) - there are many boundary areas which should be developed and then used for minor buildings like Victory towers or ceremonial fire.

I've been around long enough that I'm willing to confidently say that expansions will never be tied to any GB bonus. Inno carefully controls how expansions are released to us in order to delay grid expansions and keep us from running ourselves out of (grid) space for as long as possible. They would lose a lot of that control if they gave us an 'infinite' source of expansions, and it wouldn't be too long afterward that the complaints start appearing of players having expansions but nowhere to place them. This is not going to happen.

That being said, every GB released starting with the Tomorrow Era has had some sort of unique effect (except for Gaea) so we probably aren't going to expect whatever bonuses any new GBs may bring our way.

P.S. @poisclaro @BetaTest03 It's actually 5 GBs for attackers. Zeus, CoA, CDM, AO, Kraken. Technically there *are* 3 GBs for defense because the AO can work while defending as well, but in terms of boosts then yeah, it is a 3:2 ratio in favor of attack.

I'm probably alone in this but I would love another GB that provided coin boost. Coin boost is huge for people who use the RQs like myself and though we have 2 supply boost GBs we only have one with coin boost and that boost stops at 90 collections.

While it's true that there are two supply boost GBs and only one coin boost GB, that coin boost GB also has a much larger effect per level than the supply boost GBs do and players almost universally have more coin production than supplies so even if the two supply bonuses add up to more than the coin bonus, you're probably still collecting fewer supplies than coins each day anyway. I've personally never had more supplies than coins unless I cash out buying FP, and I'm someone who actually has a modest amount of supply buildings in my cities.

Another coin boost would certainly be preferable to just a coin production, though...if Inno did happen to give us something coin-related with the next GB.

I very much agree, would love another coin boost too. In the end more coins = more FPs, mine currently cost about 700K on live servers.

Or a coin/supplies boost GB - at least you to save space and junk earlier Gbs if they aren't high level.

If they give us the option to choose between coin and supply boost with every collection, and additional 2nd boost to that, id say yes...
But fact is very few people in OF are still heavily producing supplies, so another supply oriented building would be useless.
My OF guildies have 1 or 2 at most, I personally dumped my LoA and RAH long ago and the only supplies I'm producing are in my blacksmiths...:p

a speed boost GB

each level increases the speed of productions in every building by 1% (including GB)

level 100
100% speed = 1/2 time
not 100% less time: that would be zero

and wouldn't it be great to do 4 hours productions for DC in 2 hours ;)

How about a customizable GB?
For every level gained you get a personal choice:
Add 5% coin-boost or,
Add 1% Att/Def for attacking units or,
Add 5 % Supply-boost or,
Add 1 % Att/Def for defending units or,
Gain 540 Population or,
Gain 540 Happiness, or...

That's an interesting concept. But if it applied universally, the effect would have to be far lower. Collecting a full city's worth of 24-hour productions twice a day, even for a level 100 GB, is much too generous. We know they already have the ability to limit time discounts to 'normal' productions, so this would probably only apply to buildings that only produce coins or supplies (and not GBs). Alternatively, make the numbers similar to the Orangery (or even the Seed Vault) and I could see it applying to everything.

Oddly enough, if the next GB is called 'The Wave' (based on the name over the building's entrance) a boost effect like this could make sense - like a wave washing over your city, affecting everything in it.

As to the above discussion on a coin boost, still keep in mind that St. Mark's currently provides a larger effect than either LoA or RAH do. Both in terms of the actual bonus (250% x90 vs 145% x40 and 200% x75, all at level 10), and in terms of the fact that players already generate more coins than they do supplies with the buildings in their city. I've got 6 Boatyards and 8 OF Cider Mills in my city on live, and I collect just under 2.6m per day from them using motivated 24-hour productions and a 310% bonus to supplies. That's a LOT of supply production, compared to many here on the forums, but with only a 289% coin boost I'm still collecting nearly 6 million coins per day from my city - over double the amount, despite having (only slightly) less of a bonus for coins than supplies. This is the point I'm making when I say that perhaps we don't actually 'need' another coin boost GB.

Not sure that is true, plenty seem to loop the 500k supplies/coins task for easy prizes

What about GB that increase set buildings production? (Elephant, Maharaja, Sakura, Royal Garden´s, winter -Baroque garden?-)
Per 3% / lvl to 10 lvl and 1% per level at 11-80?
that means 30% more income at 10 lvl and 100% more income at 80 lvl.

And it incease every active bonus - FP, gold, supplyes, goods, medals.
But NOT passive bonuses - happines, attack / defens %, gold and supply % boost income...

I am not sure if second bonus is needed there. :D

what would happen with plundering then? does the plunderer get the bonus too? :)

thinking of it with greater detail, a great building with the 'reverse-kraken' effect (i.e. it kills 1 or more units of the opposing army attacking yours while you defend) would be nice to have, especially if it can kill more than 1 unit too (perhaps a max of 2, maybe 3).

but imho it shouldn't be of OF or any such late age, it should be indus age or somewhere around that time, because it can serve really well in lower ages too (without forcing them to buy goods of tons of ages higher than they're playing in), and it can reduce the nagging of people who get plundered :)

I agree, not even if giving just a tiny 1x1 expansion per level.
