Do Not Suggest New GB Reward: Goods Production Boost

Mayor resources in the game are: FPs, Coins, Supplies, Goods, Medals, Diamonds. Also Blueprints can be counted as a resource.

We have:
  • St Marks to boost production of coins.
  • Lighthouse of Alexandria (LOA) to boost production of supplies.
  • Royal Albert Hall (RAH) to boost production of supplies.
Proposal: Add a new GB Reward that will function similar to St Marks' or LOA's / RAH's boosts, that would boost goods production on goods production buildings and special goods buildings set on a cycle that would produce goods.

You build a GB if it is useful for your city, based on your play style and strategy at the time.

If after 8 eras? 12 eras? it is not longer that useful, or if a new GB or another building comes up with a better fit for your current strategy / play style then you must decide what to do.
  • You are not force to keep it, if not longer useful. You do not have to keep it until VF if you find other use for the space during ME or PME.

Would a new player build an Oracle of Delphi?
  • Yes, most new players do.
  • If a player does not have yet a Zeus or Babel he /she would use the Oracle to be able to participate in FP swap threads to continue his/her hunt of BPs.
Would the players delete it during Iron Age, or EMA?
  • Yes, most players find a new use for a 3x3 spot after unlocking the Architecture tech in Iron Age.
  • Most players with an Oracle delete it before HMA.
Same with a GB with the goods production boost proposed here, build it / use it through the ages you will have goods buildings at your city. If at Modern Era, or beyond you would not have goods buildings, then delete it and use the space for another thing (another Terrace Farm?).

Or he/she can use the 1,9 thread to hunt those BPs, without need to waste FPs on Oracle :)

Sure, a relative new player who has not been able to build a Zeus or Babel surely have lot of FPs to secure a top 5 position in a GB that is posted at a 1.9 thread full of high Arc players.

You mean: 10 or 19 FPs? Why wouldn't he...? Besides, a good guildmate could wait for newbie to put this crazy amount of FPs if he was asked to do this by newbie. I used to do this.
