Feedback New Era of Great Buildings: Explore Prestige Tiers

How does one write a 4 page doc and specify almost nothing other than the list of GB's that will be 'changed' first? So much reading to get:

This is my take-away:
1) GB's will now have 3 tiers: Copper, Silver, and Gold.
2) Copper is what the old BPs (BluePrints) were and you still get them like you used to.
3) These are the first GB's to get overhauled:
Alcatraz
Arctic Orangery
Castel del Monte
Cathedral of Aachen
Château Frontenac
Colosseum
Deal Castle
Himeji Castle
Lotus Temple
Observatory
Seed Vault
Space Carrier
Statue of Zeus
St. Mark's Basilica
Terracotta Army
The Arc
The Blue Galaxy
The Kraken
The Virgo Project
4) Silver Tiers start at L101 and Gold starts at 201.
5) GB's will remain on a level equivalent to what they were the day of overhaul.
6) If a GB is > L200 and not on the list above then compensation will apply including FP, Goods, Resources, and BPs sent directly to inventory.
7) They are replacing the formulas behind the GB FP and other costs so after the update leveling costs will change as will the boosts provided...and based on the wording this applies to ALL GBs. ALL GBs will be converted to Copper system at the release of the new system.
8) Arc's FP+BP+Medal boosts will be capped at L200. Silver will offer GBG blue atk+FP production. Gold will offer base blue def.

Then on to the other two docs that are easily summed up as:
On additional sections these are of note:
1) Gold and Silver BPs can be obtianed:
a) A BP refinery will be added - in this you can exchange copper BPs to get Silver and Gold BPs.
b) Donating to GBs on Gold and Silver tiers.
c) Trade 2:1 on GB tier - much like today's BPs.
d) Premium purchases
So what are the new boosts/bonuses for these GBs?
GBG boosts, GE boosts, QI boosts, Base boosts, FP production, previous era goods, goods, supply boosts, and guild goods. But these are severely broken up like Zeus will get this for silver: GBG blue GE def and then in gold: blue GE atk.
CdM gets blue QI def in Silver and blue QI attack in Gold.
Virgo gets red QI def in Silver and red QI atk in Gold.
One thing I can't get my head around yet is the Arc investment boost will not apply to any GB over L200 in the new system. Due to the confusing language one cannot determine if Silver >L200 or >L100 - likely because they re-used the old notes from last year and didn't fix everything. My take-away is the Arc boost is worthless in Gold tier levels so no 2.0 drops there...we shall see once this actually hits beta.

Now tell me how this new system does ANYTHING to make GB's more relevant in the game TODAY (the day of the release of the system). The request, as noted by several others, was to make their existing GB's useful. Inno's response is, "Sure we'll make your extremely low efficiency per square GB useful by adding two new tiers of levels to your GB...each with their own distinct but unoriginal boost effect. Nevermind the FACT that the average player is no where near L200 and the majority of players aren't even over L100 for their GBs....we're going to put ALL the new stuff up there...for long term play value!"

While I like this solution much more than the original, 'everybody gets an upgrade except those who actually went past L100' solution -- this does not make GB's more desired than QI, GBG, or event buildings at all. It just adds more mindless grinding that the majority of players will never reach. What a waste of development effort.

What will happen to oarcle about lvl. 250 on one world? (not my I'm not idiot) For that who don't belive here is one video (old)

What matters to 90% of players is the 0 to 100 score, which is where most of them strive to get to. For me, if you don't have clarity about that, everything is rubbish.

If we need :goods: for the GBs after level 200, it would be good to create a new shop to buy goods of the age we want.... (because I think that for example for Aachen, you will need goods from the High middle ages and not from your curent âge

In summary:
WoW, GB update before end of March, this is unexpected,
wow, almost copy paste from the previous evolution from summer 2025, what a disappointment

More details:
> Announcement clarity:
1/ There are parts not clear enough, like are the copper boost rescaled or not.
Seems the case when we look at the Alca 101 image at least, but can't see it written unless I missed something
2/ Goods requirement: I don't know if this is on purpose but goods requirement to refine bps is really vague and almost not mentioned.
As this was already one of the main issues of 1st evolution version, it's a pity to see this was not looked carefully AND is not explained properly.

> One change, adressing only the epidermic reaction (and which was heard by Inno because a lot of P2W players reacted to it - and stopped reacting at that, not analyzing further. Inno, of course, decided it was meaning everything else was perfect and not that it was so bad the other issues were'nt even looked at.
But ok, that compression issue is solved.

> Resources: one of the main problematic, seems completely unchanged from what we can see in this announcement.
So we'll all be looking for low eras resources in each and every world.... and there won't be available. Great! That solves already the tier level of around 10 of the 19 GBs that are given tier levels o_O

> Where to put fp: no big changes here, so we may run out of ways to spend fp as we will have issues to get tier bp AND others GBs will be capped (ok, cap at 200 is better than before, I have to admit that - but with limited GB, the issue is still very likely)
> Arc bonus not working after 200: well that is another way to limit tier bp (issue above). Is it good or bad for the game though, I don't know, it's at least strange than we won't be able to use the arc guilds as a strength to level these (guild part being already minored almost everywhere, while it's one of the factor making people stay a long time - Inno seems to still not have understood that, despite our feedbacks, having made nothing in favor of guild dynamics for years**).

(** out of topic but GBG trials and QI simplification (after a start requiring guild cooperation) were already hurting badly guild play).

> Bonus: no change there, where are the unique bonus that could have been drafted (like OA, Galaxy, ...)?
No, uninventive bonus, almost all militaries... A bit boring. It seems Inno has so few ideas on that they decided to discard so many GBs to be given Tier levels!
I'll even add to that some GB with tier level will very probably not considered an option even like that!

> And the good Inno joke of course: tier level given to the most common GBs meaning Lotus or Collosseum and no Titan or SASH ^^

THANK YOU for this update. IMO, the modifications are awesome and I'm looking forward to experience it on live servers. It will give a renewed interest to some abandoned GB and reshape how we build cities !
what do you like about it?

I'd like to know about the cost, if it will be reduced when starting a new tier. You know it keeps increasing, and that's one of the reasons why people stop leveling up. It would be insane to reach level 400 with the same increasing costs.

I'm confused about The Arc .... saying it stops giving the bonuses after level 200 (1,9, 2.0, medals FP) ... does this mean it doesn't apply to contributions it makes to GB over level 200 but it still does apply to buildings under 200 (Copper only) ..... or is it neutered completely if it goes over 200?

and a complete lack of info on how the levels up to 100 or 200 will become more expensive .... like 10% or 20% or 1000%.

I don't see any ideas behind that update. Arc, chateau, bg. ao...these are the only buildings which make sense. Nothing changes with that update.

I have a really hard time understanding, how those effects can make LGs relevant again.
Raising attack generally starts from Level 200 (Gold Tier). Personally I don't know anybody who is advanced well enough as to have LGs level 200 and higher, and would still need any attack power for GEX.
Same goes for QI boosts. They are easy to build in QI settlements. Why bother to level LGs already torn down to level 200?
This is overall quite underwhelming.
