bg is probably background and lb probably limited building. But these are just guesses from me.

I thought for a moment that "lb" stood for "Legendary building" and that the icon stood for doubling the production of a "Legendary Building". As with the "Blue Galaxy" you can double productions of normal buildings.

Maybe limited buildings can refer to temporary skins you can apply on buildings you already have in your city, those skins give the buildings a certain bonus or extra production then.
They have such a system in Rise of Cultures, but in Rise of Cultures you mostly keep your buildings and don't replace them (more like Elvenar works).
