Probably watch fires + recent event buildings. Those recent ones got quite a lot of %. Due to GE5 some are motivated to invest more in %

The problem is that the PvP Arena sorts the "easiness" of fights by the player's age, not by the boosts that a player has.

Also good for rogue hideouts and some stuff to sell in AD.
But still, I think I do only 10-20 fights a week on it and I am still rewarded for almost doing nothing, doing more fights in Arena isn't rewarding much more, apart from some ranking points and ocasioanally forge points and goods.

I also play it, why wouldn't I. As said, free (though not big) rewards for very minimal effort. Sometimes it can be even helpful for events (e.g. kill N units).
As for the balance...yeah, as Uber pointed it out, the game doesn't really take the boosts into account which can lead to these non-sense situations where the "harder" options are easier.

would also be funny if applied to the attacker
players having OF units (and maybe are just in industrial age) then would also be treated as OF players

Unfortunately, yes indeed, many times the first one is the easiest one. And yes, I do play PvP Arena, mostly for points, as the rewards and quite bad.
