Well I like the more brighter background. I even like it here in the forum (I know, I'm the only one ;-) ) But I'm not a developer, they usually prefere dark themes.
A developer told me once, that they don't like bright themes because this attractive bugs.. So long

Can't stand paper on the internet. Web 2.0 was the worst thing ever. Need a happy middle ground. I loved FOE's dark backgrounds and now they are replacing them with light backgrounds.

Instead of replacing all the sweet looking wood backgrounds, give us the option to choose so all camps will be happy.
