In-Game Battle Tactics

What do people prefer doing. Since you can now move units how do people like to battle..

I like to trap enemys so they can't gang up on me as the beginning units smash most of what the enemys use.

Seems to be keeping my men alive so far .

I try out different things most of the time... luring them seems to work best, if there is siege weaponry I tend to ignore it till last though.

Since the beggining im using spearman + slingers , usualy 4 spears and 4 slings , best tactic for now.

I just use slingers, it save space with just the one building and kills most things with 2 shots and hits at range so all easy and saves me supplies etc..
