Hello Forge Fans!

A new era of Allies is about to begin, and they’re ready to grow stronger than ever!

This is the place to be if you have any questions about it or would like to discuss it with other players.
Please keep in mind that your opinion may differ from the opinions of other players, you don't have to convince each other of anything here. :)

We appreciate your feedback!

Please write your feedback in a factual and constructive way and stay on topic.
So that we can pass your feedback on to the developers, the following points would be important to note:
  • Feedback that only contains one sentence like "Allies are your best friends" is not helpful. Please make sure to include reasons for your opinion.
  • The same goes for positive feedback. We are happy about it of course, but describing what exactly you like is always very helpful!
  • Limit your feedback to the actual content. Feedback like "You should improve X" or feedback that refers to other game content or previous events is not helpful.
  • Questions that ask when it will be released on the live server will not be answered. We always announce it in time there.
  • Don't report any bugs here. Please use the bugs forum.
  • Use the "Like" button if another player has already reflected your opinion well.
Thank you very much and have fun!

Sincerely,
Your Forge of Empires Team

Finaly we can upgrade our allies but question : Will be avaibable to finish ecip spartan soilder? It need store where we can buy only allies and every allies fragments from new resources (I won't deleting allies I'll only upgrading them)

It seems quite nice but for two points :

The number of Valor Tokens you get upon Disbandment depends on the Rarity of the Disbanded Ally.
I think we would all appreciate if this number would also depend on the level of the disbanded ally.

Allies grant limited-use bonuses: each Ally can provide special bonuses (like Battle Abilities) with a chance percentage and a limited number of charges (uses).
Oh please, noone cares about limited number of charges when we're doing hundreds of fights each day.

Right, especially as there will be different limited boosts for different types of units, but all of them in small quantities.
Which will probably make the buff bar quite crowded.
Please, if you need to deliver useless buffs, go ahead. But can the buff bar please be de-activated? There is already enough on the screens that I never wanted to see.

But there is also some good news.
I really like that I can put allies I never intend to level to a better use.
Of course the option that they can produce resources is also quite tempting.
More useability for heros tavern is also highly welcome, looking forward to that.

I got two epic Spartans I want to delete to place the valor onto the others I have. And, yes, I can get more Spartans in time.

Not anymore. Epic Spartan has been replaced with Common Boudicca ;)

Though it seems the optimum path to developing a new dork now is to level them at low rarity to save levelling costs. Then up their rarity to unlock their other bonuses.

The valor feeder seems likely to be when they give us terribad dorks in events. Just leave em at level 1 until you need their valor to feed one of the ones you have levelled.

We're going to need a lot more dorks though to fill all the rooms we've got if we have to be destroying most of them to make a few of them better :p

I don't do anything about allies (have about 20) for about 6 months. reason - they don't add any value. I don't need more attack, i don't need more goods. From what I see these are the only things they add...so dead update for me. Completely useless.

Since I am the Ambassador of Forget of Empires.

I have to say this.

It's a good thing that 2026 doesn't bring anything new, as the developers are simply paying back the players for the updates they received in 2025. This is because they didn't have enough time to do it a year ago.

Thanks for not forgetting.

So this is the answer to providing past age goods?
  • Historical Allies soon will no longer be just about raw Attack and Defense boosts. With the Evolution you will be able to unlock new Abilities that will be available for new Historical Allies (starting from Summer Event).
  • New Historical Allies will be able to grant units special abilities. Including some of your favourite ones like: Poison, Force Field, Keen Eye, Frenzy etc.
  • When assigned to a building, Allies will be able to produce resources as well – these could include items such as: Goods, Units, Blueprints, Resources (Coins, Supplies, Medals), Fragments of special items (even Buildings!), etc.
Note: the Productions are linked to the Era of the Building and not the Player! For example, if an Ally is placed on an Iron Age building it would produce Iron Age Units / Goods and is not dependent on the players current Era. Once Ally is assigned to a Building (if the Ally has a Production ability) the first time it is assigned to a building, it will reset the productions. Once the building's production timer is completed, you automatically collect the Ally productions along with the normal building productions - yes, it's that easy, and yes, you can use FSP and 2X on these.
Nonsense!

Not interested in limited skills/day stuff like 'next 8 heavies get whatever boost'. Give me a break. Either make it a permanent boost or just replace it with something else.

Goods at collections? Cool. Controlled by the building they are put in's age? Okay.... but how about putting ally slots in all our old developed for the age buildings so we can focus on what we want - specifically housing and military? No....I don't like the idea as I still think that requiring goods for unlocking L200+ GBs is ridiculous and the game will grind to a halt for all new players.

Liking the idea of special items like buildings....but come on - give us some actual examples here as this could be shrines of knowledge....fragments ;) /cry

Once Ally is assigned to a Building (if the Ally has a Production ability) the first time it is assigned to a building, it will reset the productions.
Please don't do this.
  1. It's extremely annoying to have production reset for no good reason (your reason isn't good see point 2-3). We have the same issue on moving building that can be in a chain while not in a chain -> production reset even if no chain was broken (extremely annoying in Mughal until we learn how to avoid it most of the time)
  2. Originally (in your own announcement) the point of allies was that we could move allies according to need. For example switch to GBG allies and then to GE allies according to what we are doing (I don't think players actually do it, I don't it's a waste of time). Having one legendary ally I can use in all my building for extra goods is an "abuse" that was part of the original design philosophy.
  3. Even if you want to contradict your own initial mechanic, this is just a temporary issue until we have multiple legendary allies. Once we have them there is little benefit in wasting time on switching allies, unless it's for the originally intended objective of optimizing for our desired outcome.
  4. If you don't reset, it actually incentivizes the usage of more buildings with allies rooms. That would make the feature more successful (slightly more successful).
The bonuses visible in the announcement are very bad.

In addition, the pool of Milestone Allies is no longer static and will rotate over time, bringing more variety and new opportunities to strengthen your roster!
This is going to be a disaster.
I suppose this means the allies will rotate on a schedule. If you are balancing this on the assumption that players complete all 20 milestones every week most players will get a lot of useless fragments for a very long time.
In the long run this can be good is all allies are included allowing us to complete allies we have some fragment for. But that is a very long rotation especially if each ally is present for 10 weeks. It thinks we already have about 20 different allies so that is a 200 weeks rotation or 4 years.

To make the rotation work, it should be different for each player and persist until a player completed the ally. Then switch to the next. Active players can still get a full ally in 10 weeks (or slightly more if for any reason they need to lose a few). But less active players don't need to wait multiple decades to get the first one (I usually do 5 milestone, so for me personally it's about 16-20 years for the first ally if no new allies are added in that time to the pool).

Heroic Tavern is not the one got updates as the Early Tavern negotiations will become easier to complete with its difficulty scales more gradually over time. The first few negotiations ask for fewer types of goods.
When do you add special goods?
That is the only issue that is actually important.
Sure easier negotiation is good, but cost doesn't actually change significantly. The first few easier negotiation can be completed in less attempt which saves a few goods, but most of the cost (>80%) is in later stages.

So, was told that instead of an epic spartan that we will get in the original Heroic Endeavors, we're getting a common bautica. So, what will happen to all the fragments of the epic spartan that we were forced to have in our inventories since this will change everything?

You know, Inno, you're always "one step forward, two steps backwards" in anything you release. If you had left the epic spartan in the mix instead of changing it to something different, this question would not have come up. Now, we're going to have a clutter since you can't sell off a partial unit to the AD, and deleting fragments (even though it's a waste since I was forced on so many by no choice of my own) will be a pain in the a*se.

I am guessing I will find out if the quests reset once this comes into release to which will probably hit one, two, or even all my predictions:

• Delayed Start (as with everything, nothing's on time)
• Emergency Maintenance Needed (to fix something broken on release)
• This whole thing has gone SOUTH (where everyone gets shafted, but that's expected, right?)
