Time to get care in this years Halloween Event 2025!

This is the place to be if you have any questions about it or would like to discuss it with other players.
Please keep in mind that your opinion may differ from the opinions of other players, you don't have to convince each other of anything here. :)

Please write your feedback in a factual and constructive way and stay on topic.
So that we can pass your feedback on to the developers, the following points would be important to note:
  • Feedback that only contains one sentence like "Boo, Spooky time" is not helpful. Please make sure to include reasons for your opinion.
  • The same goes for positive feedback. We are happy about it of course, but describing what exactly you like is always very helpful!
  • Limit your feedback to the actual content. Feedback like "You should improve X" or feedback that refers to other game content or previous events is not helpful.
  • Questions that ask when it will be released on the live server will not be answered. We always announce it in time there.
  • Don't report any bugs here. Please use the bugs forum.
  • Use the "Like" button if another player has already reflected your opinion well.

I fear much of the reward page of this announcement is an unchecked copy-pasta of the fellowship event. i.e. the side buildings have suspiciously similar stats, right down to the chest building producing everblossom fiore fragments that are almost certainly supposed to be mad scientist's dominion and obsidian tower fragments. And the source of upgrade for the dominion and obsidian tower being listed as the raftway harbor.

Edit: I look forward to collecting this critter as my reward now ;)

Yeah, another gimmick brought to you by Inno and MTG. Luckily for me, I am not in the game so I am not worried. Had dusted off Star Ocean The Second Story R after I figured out the Hoffman Ruins explosive puzzle to continue my gameplay there. Although, I do wish the ones who are still remaining the best of luck (and we know that Rivals sucked on the fall event; read it still sucked on the Fellowship Event; so we can greatly assume he just sucks).
 
I like that the ectoplasm-balancing chest nonsense was removed from the event. Changes to tasks also seem positive (i.e. doing them all is no longer a trap).

To get the main building we need to hit 630 grand prize progress (final upgrade from any league). The optimum throws to get there are 3x throws (7 progress a throw). This would make 90 triple-throws = 540 tickets a guarantee to pick it up.

2/9 slots generally have cat tokens (sometimes 1, sometimes 3). Times 3 throws, so you have about 2/3 extra progress on average from landing on cat tokens. This lowers the triple-throws to 630 / (7+2/3) = ~83 rounded up = ~498 tickets with average luck.

Don't have an estimate of tickets available yet, but planning to win ticket refunds off the wheel seems like a bad bet (they don't come up very often).
 
I noticed that the Wheel currently grants bonuses to coins and supplies. I would suggest removing these bonuses to better focus players on the main event rewards and simplify the Wheel mechanics.
 
Having City related tasks within the Halloween game forces one to enter the game, note the tasks, exit the game then slot those tasks around the other quests. Tasks within the Event game should, imo, relate to the wheel/knife for convenience, continuity and also to keep one physically in the event game, focused on the wheel, progress, immersed in the atmosphere...

This is a nightmare, ha ha, how fitting. 5 thumbs down.

PS: the buildings have decent stats but are so garish I can't seriously consider placing them..

It's funny you mention this - I simply must have some black towers somewhere! Always been one of my favorite buildings visually (hope they didn't remove the bat effect on collection in the upgraded versions), but not good enough to place. Now they are :)

The main building I can agree is a bit ugly though lol.

Phantom Abandoned Asylum & Thundering Lab of Monstrosities still have a decorative place in my cities. While not strong they are understated, a touch eerie and blend well. They'll go back into inventory until next year.
 
What can I say? I've spent real money on every Halloween Event for the last eight years BUT this event is uninspiring. Having had to spend the remaining diamonds I had in order to get a fully built event building for the Fall Event, discourages me from spending any real money going forward. Besides, not many will have kept the black tower in their inventory, as a matter of fact, I find this resurrection of old buildings tedious, bulking up the inventory, and so dispiriting! Yawn. When will I quit this game... soon I hope. Money better spent on NEW, shiny, evocative Christmas presents for me and my spouse! :)
 
From the looks on Discord and some on here that I had read, Inno does disappoint.

Exactly 14 days until I can get out of the silent prison at Discord! I am buying a round for everyone that went there with me... at that very same tavern nonetheless.
 
Dont think there is much in the store, the good things you have to buy with cat charms. The rest is expensive in comparison to what you get.
And there are only coins in the store, nobody is going to buy that.
 
Well this mini game is over for me...Make People enthusiastic I need 19,000 happiness to do that I have no negative building I would have to store a huge amount of building to get the space to do this what a rip off

Edited to Add Problem Solved Thank TanteTrude I totally for got the Tavern Shop that advice solved it for me

I guess Inno dont want us to delete buildings but store them. I was looking forward to some upgrade Kits for Buildings from Last year :(
Whats coming Summer 2026, Mahardsha Palace Silver? Eeri Nightmare Coaster Platinum in 2033?

Use the tavern boost to do that!
Making people enthusiastic is one of the easiest tasks to fulfill, if you have some tavern coins saved.
