Hello Forge Fans!

It's spooooky time! This time we go to a horror theme park in the Halloween Event!

This is the place to be if you have any questions about it or would like to discuss it with other players.
Please keep in mind that your opinion may differ from the opinions of other players, you don't have to convince each other of anything here. :)

Please write your feedback in a factual and constructive way and stay on topic.
So that we can pass your feedback on to the developers, the following points would be important to note:
  • Feedback that only contains one sentence like "I want to miss with the knifes!" is not helpful. Please make sure to include reasons for your opinion.
  • The same goes for positive feedback. We are happy about it of course, but describing what exactly you like is always very helpful!
  • Limit your feedback to the actual content. Feedback like "You should improve X" or feedback that refers to other game content or previous events is not helpful.
  • Questions that ask when it will be released on the live server will not be answered. We always announce it in time there.
  • Don't report any bugs here. Please use the bugs forum.

Main prize seems interesting. We can place it and remove 1 lvl2 nutcrackers guardhouse. Particularly nice that it is kinda a scary reskin of the modern era's amusement park (premium cultural building). Retroactive asylum looks nice. However the large footprint makes it a bit hard to justify. Despite its decent specs. Upgraded hero is welcome. I'm curious what this upgrades hero has to offer. In regard of heroes, we can always swap heroes from an building? I've read it should be but didn't tried it yet as I don't have at live 2 heroes at the moment.

I love the artwork on the buildings. I think one of my side worlds might have to theme themself after this event (I don't think the buildings fit my plans for my main world, and that's fine - it's not that they're bad, just different priorities).

No card game? I bought some long sleeve shirts so I can hide cards. Come on Inno!!! A new mechanic, hmm, has a wheel like summer, steal from your neighbors like the old wheel, has chests like SPD and Fellowship. I hope you don't nerf the Asylum QI boosts.
 
I'm not excited by this event rewards.

Which building have population cost (and give happiness) and which give population and cost happiness seems random. Previous event have it more consistent.

There is no indication on how many fragment are needed for full items.

The golden prize has some strange percentages and values for the fragments. The main building has 8 level + silver + gold.
Usually the gold league gives the same amount and percentage for silver and gold. This time it is 30% silver and 20% gold. The selection kit is 30 fragment with 50% chance. If we need 50 fragment for a full kit, by the time we get 8 selection kit we don't have a full silver and golden upgrade kit (again if 150 fragment are needed).

Usually we we have 6 chest we have a bonus building/kit for opening all 6 chests.
I suppose the bonus building is the "Enchanted Elixirs Emporium". But if that is the case the "Available from", is unclear is should say: "The 6 Chest Set Rewards"

I regret to inform Inno Games that I won't be participating in this event for the following reasons:

• No Card Game: I missed the Zombies, Vampires, and Werewolves!
• Previous event was a rip off: Fragments at the last minute with ridiculous chances; removal of enticing stats that made me spend in the first place.
• Buildings are too big for the stats/features presented. I will keep my 2x2 Nutcrackers for the mass-self aids, thank you.

This way I won't have to be mad at you. Heh heh.

Now, if that wheel places neighbors as part of a spinning progress (at random), I'll probably take a stab at it!
 
I wouldn't say I was a fan out of the card game, it really took a lot of time to get through one deck. The knife throwing adds a new mechanic to the wheel like limits on prices and being able to get more than one per turn. I honestly didn't have a bad time playing it years ago, there are less people online now so really this fear of hoodwinks refreshing the wheel at every turn will hopefully be very misplaced. Although I do feel like if the knives are being thrown at the same position every time, that the devs are going to configure the wheel so that you cannot earn two decent prices next to each other on the same turn.

I'd assume the knife throws are random and outside player control. The multithrows are interesting though either for lazy people who want to click less or competitive wheels where you're trying to race for the good prize.

As for the death of the card game, I would have a little hope that the wheel is only replacing one instance of it and the other will remain as the card game, and this is a step toward 10 different games per year instead of 5 games twice each.

I like the wheel with its neighbor-interaction as a unique instance for 1 event. I don't think we need it twice a year though. And I didn't mind the card game conceptually (though perhaps after they gutted what i considered the main draw of the event midway through last time (removing the silk weaver from the apex sanctuary's production), they drew the conclusion people don't like the minigame when it equally could be people don't like live nerfs :p)

Do you recall if the Wheel was one of those Events that prevented neighborhood shuffles?
It certainly was at one point - though i don't know that the latest iterations of it were. I imagine they could get around that with a single wheel refresh at hood change mid-event.

Oh I thought it was only a Test of the Icon but we are on soon. OK I must have missed the memo that it was starting.
