Discussion Great Buildings Prestige: Update Postponed to 2026

Era-based limitations: Rumors suggest that new upgrades will be locked to the player's current age. For example, a player in an early era might be able to build an advanced GB but wouldn't be able to upgrade it past level 10 without advancing through the ages.
what i heard is it will cost goods from era of GB to unlock new lvl's of silver and gold lvl's

That part I know of, and why there was a ruckus in a different thread about the goods since beta is only a dwindling economy.

Or as they say, too many SASH and not enough lower ages. But that could have been everywhere else as well.

Some beleaves that Inno totaly layed down the projekt.
While others, like me are curious to what's are coming.

As i have said before, if i doesn't quit playing because to "stupid turnings in the game"
I will somehow reach the higher ages in at least one world sometime.
But i wont do it because om getting pushed to it.

Give us at least some time and posibility to react on suggested changes before it suddenly just going to happend. Thanks!
First, i dont think any of us intends to push Inno towards a rushed Decision.
It would help alot if Inno could give a Status/Roadmap update more often.
Inno is balancing the Game pretty good. Even tho we dont like everything and some parts, if not most, could use an overhaul or update, the game in its current state is more then playable.

Towards the pushing us into a different Era, im also not a fan of that behavior.
But in my eyes a push is not comparable to a force.
So as long as we are not forced, i dont see a problem of missing out on something.

The developers are all making updates with a delay! It's always been like this! And so it will be this time!

The raven shouted "never"
I believe it's "nevermore" on a raven's shout.

Anyway, as to this update, I have not seen hide or tail of it or the guild conquest (I still believe that one never got off the ground in the first place, but okay). Instead, they've (Inno) has been wreaking havoc on the game itself in putting in things we never asked for and breaking other things (I had seen a bug report) that worked once before. All in a while of two evident things: 1. Not making a backup of the last known good program version -AND- 2. Not fully testing their revision in house to make sure it can go out into the world.

It's like they are tapping into the game's program and code while it is running in the world to make their changes... and that just won't do.

Delayed as without any hide or tail on the subject in the weeks/months before that time. Hence why I said it never gotten off the ground in the first place. It will soon be a year until that announcement, mate.
No, we did get some assets and texts in the files relating to it in March and April of '25. Not much, but we did get some that would suggest development was actively happening on it for that period.

Would it be the first time that a project got shot down, then they tried again but ended up not going through with it? :p

We can talk about this endlessly. In fact, GB has not been relevant since 2018... 8 years old. We were told there would be an update, but it was postponed, just as other projects were postponed. The question is not when GB will be updated, but why weren't they updated in 2022? Or 2023?
