Merchant
Reason
significant decline in the value of buildings
Details
The upgrade would apply only to buildings in the Gold League and would be universal.
Balance
maintaining the value from the moment the building was acquired
Abuse Prevention
-------------
Summary
The loss of value of buildings in the game is huge and the buildings from the gold league are unique and should not lose their value
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
I didn't see
Dear Inno, perhaps you could consider introducing upgrades for buildings acquired in the Gold Leagues.
These are unique buildings that required considerable effort and often real money to acquire.
They are still beautiful today, but are becoming less useful in the city.
The upgrade would apply only to buildings in the Gold League and would be universal.

If you write in your idea that it asks for 500 euros to upgrade each such building, it can do it. A new idea without the company looting the players' wallets, it's never going to work no matter how much you get hit and keep writing

You suggested to Inno to offer upgrade to gold league building. That is a very bad idea (for both Inno and 99% of players).

This game business model is based on a small percentage of player keeping the game alive by their transaction.

Gold league players (1%) either are still spending and getting the new gold league rewards or they stopped and should not be encouraged (for the bottom line).
One of the limiting factor is space. If gold league building become less useful, it reduce the difference between f2p and paying customers.

This remind me someone who once wrote in a f2p and p2w game that he (a f2p) would win once all the whales left the game (not going to happen, when whales leave, the game will be shut down. Thanks to Inno customers for letting us play f2p).

Personally, I think it is a bad idea to already upgrade something that no one else in the world has (the 99%) into something that screams "unfair advantage" by the said 99%. I just have that feeling that it will literally break the game.

it is like in real life
you buy something
and when you can't use it anymore you throw it away

you don't go to the store and ask for a free upgrade

But don't forget on dikukh, cartograpther house, evergreen expres, autum 2023 gold building and elfie shop, nortwind courier, summer 2024+2025 gold building that is gold building that I have and didn't end in gold or silver leguage (again avaibible or from lower leguage, one was from memories but I gon on beta one and on live 2 as same amout of diamonds (2995))

You'd be surprised as to how many people I would get in the returns line of the Home Depot, when I worked about 25 years ago, that would bring back their already used stuff and wanting the brand new thing that is out.

"I mean, come on. Seriously?"

how about instead of offering new buildings each event in gold league, just introduce an upgrade to a previously released gold league building? :P

I'm almost entirely sure they do not accept back plumbing items or toilets. :p The one thing they don't take back used. Although it would sure be fun to throw a toilet down the compactor....

I disagree with this idea because there's always new buildings being released to replace the last events slops.

Try having old fittings sitting on top of the counter while the customer explains they weren't used. All rusted out.

We draw the line on the toilets, though. Once opened, can't bring it back. Although, someone did that once in sealing the box up like it was never opened. It was taken in by another returns associate (I was off on that day). However, as I recalled, a while later, there was some water in the toilet aisle on the floor. The associate there traced the water to a box. Yeah, that box. Called the supervisor and manager over to assist when he opened it up. You can imagine what was in there.

But don't get me started on paint machines. People used the hell out of them, expecting us to take it back because it doesn't work anymore. It's like, I am sure there are repair shops around for that kind of thing. I may be good in getting people out the door, but I just lack the "fool" persona as people try to avoid me knowing I will call them out on their shenanigans and send them home.

I quit that job when I got my degree for a different calling through life.
