Feedback GBG Trials

half is 75
That's a lot closer to 80 than 150 my man...

More like "Launch to grab/set for VP and placement", "Slow Days but still want to get fights even though the HAUs are coming in slowly", and "I don't know what in the world I was thinking but here I am, heh heh."

I don't bother with anything above 5 for GE trials. Nothing is enticing enough besides the measly 50 FT frags weekly that I don't get any more than if I was doing a higher trial. Yeah, it will take months to get higher trials, but also will cost a lot to unlock so got to make sure you have treasury generating buildings that will cover the costs of such advancements. Once I find something suitable that will get me to cover for the 20% FP increase, or getting enough FP that I don't even care about the 20%, the FT will be laid to rest and GE will not be touched ever again by this bloke.
I looked at the max level rewards, what a joke. Who wants that for a FT upgrade, % increase in goods??? Holy cow did somebody get hit on the head over there, I'm starting to get concerned about all these poor choices.

Come on, if you know a bit the game, you should know that it's the bonus associated to attri that matters...
Attri 75 = 5'959% (trial 1) / 35'539 (trial 50 with crit)
Attri 80 = 6'989% (trial 1) / 40'539 (trial 50 with crit)
Attri 150 = 41'325% (trial 1) / 212'219 (trial 50 with crit)

You've got quite some room for improvement still (and real half bonus speaking would be around attri 116)

F me, I tried so hard to ignore it but - alas I'm not strong enough.

I despise people who do do this - getting all "Technically you are incorrect, therefore my previous incorrect statement suddenly becomes correct".

That might not be their intention, but that is what I hear/read. Just f%&$ing admit your mistake and get on with your life, it's not a big deal to get something wrong.

Sorry for the rant - let's return to our scheduled program: INNO trying to get rid of players.

63 members only only one waiting and make all-1 fights in provincie (149 fights total) alone without help maybe other 62 peoples don´t want defeat top GbG guild or 2nd top I now don´t know 100% but bigger chance is top

Another one of the top guilds on my server is now being dismantled. They won the last championship to go with honor, and now the guild is being closed with many of their top players leaving the game completely.
Trials in GBG has now killed the top two guilds on my server. Most other guilds in upper half of diamond league are struggling to survive.

It really is a pity that GBG now is a single players adventure, disguised as a guild feature. I understand many like it better than before - those who never really were interested in working together with their guild can now farm some diamonds in shorter time.
But for those players, who actually liked doing GBG, Trials have transformed that feature into what people used to complain about before the change: Dull autobattle only. Without the excitement of guild competition, there is in fact nothing left to get excited about. Too bad.

Everything the company has been doing for a while now shows a pattern that other companies are doing in their own games. That it is obviously preparing the ground to close the game for itself and with what it is doing it is slowly forcing players to voluntarily abandon the game on their own.
Maybe they have other plans in mind, maybe they got bored, maybe they won't make the crazy millions they were expecting, but a little less, so personally for me you are preparing the ground for them to announce the closure of the game in 1 or 2 years because with all the deliberate mistakes they are making, too many players will have given up on the game and they will have achieved their goal of closing Forge Of Empires once and for all.

After tonight's run in with GBg

My Virtual Future Stats and running with Higher Age Units (Sentinels/Steel Wardens, sometimes a Sniperbot).

Since Trials and the new GBg isn't tied to age scaling like before, I might be a shoo-in for when I reach up to SASH (or the new age) in about 3-5 years, heh heh. I still have like 12 diamond expansions I have to get along with the 5 QI medal ones (as well as the ones for the campaign map of SAM and possibly the next age as well). I regret tearing down my AO, but hoping one day once I get enough real estate, I will place it back into the city... and that is if Inno decides to come around and put out better buildings in the future.

I think it might be more effective this way

all fights and negotiations only at the maximum level
At least you got yourself some, mate.

I hardly nego, but fights are always welcomed in my circle.
your guild should kick you if you don't fight for victory and for rewards I doing only trial 1 and 288 attrion in old GbG in trial 1 is yesterday and my personal record (boost about 5k% enemy boost about 12k%)
Why does his guild have to kick him out, mate? At least he puts in the effort. At 91 (myself at 115 both blue and red sectors on auto with 2 SWs and 6 Rogues before I have to change my formation for certain army types I am facing), I would say he was pulling his weight. If it was a higher trial number then color me "impressed" as I probably be making around 70-80 for trial 30 and maybe 35-40 for trial 50.

I'd like to see your numbers, mate. Best to put your money where your mouth is on that statement of yours.

And my victory is getting the number of fights passed a certain threshold each season. Our small guild won't be able to fare against them larger ones. However, we are comfortable with being a small guild. We get a lot of fights and don't like sitting in a corner like most guilds when a large one takes an entire map. Four hours is my friend always, followed by either brute force or 2.5 hours, depending on situation. But if we won a season, then cool, as it's nothing to brag about these days, especially with the changes that Inno made. I'll tell you that.

And, here's where my money's at (even though platinum)! Coming back in Diamond this upcoming season.

he can play trial 1 and make more fights and guild can win 2 GbG main buildings every GbG and be top 1
Wow, and this is coming from a guy who is only under 80 mil in ranking points with nearly every GB planted in his city (makes me wonder if the "He-Man" nonsense you been trying to say is true). Yeah, I am guessing that is why he isn't in your guild. And, it's a good thing I am not looking to go into another guild at this point, either. I don't dictate to my guildmates. I let them play their own game as they let me play mine. If they put forth, then cool, it's good to have them around. If they don't, then fine as well, since I know each one of us has a life outside the game and will not let a game dictate that way of life.

I have 158M on one world on second 130M on third about 75M next 40M, 30M .... all 17 have minimum 1M points and GB will be upgraded soon you can watch this it's form live but It doesn't matter

I just don't like to flaunt it, let alone talk down someone just because I was this far in (only 1 city; tried to play on live but I left). Kommodor was sharing what he did throughout. And, to be quite honest, I am impressed that he did with being the only one in his guild, as I know the struggle of running my own guild of one when it comes to things like that. So, to revisit your last statement, I guess he will have to kick himself out then since he didn't perform to your expectations (why am I saying it was "you" since you said "a guild"; but then again, I don't think any other guild would mind his presence since he does look like he's active enough in engaging).

I suppose you could have changed it to Inno is ran by chumps?
The most accurate would be "INNO is ran by CHEATERS". They cheat in every single aspect of this rigged garbage they call "game". Negotiation - laughable. Kin Eye - was actually thought out as a cheat, for them to fully control the outcome of any battle. Last but not least, attrition. Just got 24 attrition from 65 battles. This is... 37%, of course with 20% probability :) I would count it as a probability fluke, but this is rather the daily usual. Being alone in guild, I can track accurately their cheating, and their rigged probabilities.

My old guild is still winning, but many(like me) have left either from game or to more casual guilds to avoid GB and just play GE or QI. GB has become to stale, predictable, rewards been diluted by events and QI and the demand to set timers all day make it a chore that most can not deal with longer periods.

Our guild of 5 had been squaring off with some of the mid to large grade guilds on beta in the last few seasons. We had one matchup that saw us back into Platinum as the season began (probably a predictor since the matching is still terrible) in Diamond; we were squaring off along with 2 mid and 2 large grade guilds that took all 4 places to remain in diamond.

The attrition is also messed up. You can be doing nearly all fighting on a sector that has 20% attrition gain and get way more attrition in that sector than in a sector that has a 40% attrition gain (I had done this to know). Ideally, the formula for attrition gain should have been like this Gain=Max Sector Value*N% where the n value is either .2, .4, .6, .8 or 1 then divided onto how many players are engaging it. And it should kept a record of attrition gain given on that sector just like it kept the progress until it is captured by said guild or another guild captures it (as in a race).

For example, you are taking a sector with 3 people. You had camps built to take in 20% attrition (2x 40% camps built) and the sector in question is 110 progress. Initially, you have this Gain = 110 * 0.2 = 22 Max Attrition Gain for sector. You have three players engaging so that brings up the possibility max of being 7 per player with that 1 lucky player getting the extra 1 attrition. That means there should be 88 engagements that should be attrition free. Well, what if said player negotiates instead of fight? Well, then if they get a negote in and it connects then it's one less engagement that is attrition free since a negotiation is worth 2 progress points. Well, what if 20 people are hitting a sector? Can you say 1 attrition gain to each and 2 players will get an extra one when it connects for that same sized sector?

Personally, having a 20% attrition gain sector would be close to nil when it comes to attrition gain and not ongoing as if you're hitting a 0% support (full 100% attrition gain) sector. Else, what's the point in building camps?
