Yeah 80 att is only half of the maximum of 150 lol.
It'd be nice if the trials were a sliding bar that would point out: max grey coins, max red coins, max plat coins. Do people really need 50 choices? For me its either level 1 or level 50.
I'd add in 30 as a potential choice for heavy hitters who are looking to GBG for diamonds. i.e. assuming you can handle Trial 50:
Trial 2: Max Attrition (only +25% added on trial 2, no scaling, which is peanuts if you're a heavy hitter)
Trial 30: Max Silver Coins (trial 50 is more per fight ; but not much more and significantly less fights).
Trial 50: Max Gold + Platinum Coins
Potential uses for other trials:
Trial 3-29:
- For people who can exceed cap still on these trials, they're no worse than 2. But they do require at least 1.1* the boost (i.e. if you needed ~40k% to go-infinite satisfactorily on trial 2, you'll need ~44k% for trial 4)
- For people with low boost, you often still get more coins of all varieties by moving up a little. Serves to avoid it being a switch of "do trial 1 until you can handle trial 30" (i.e. if you can handle 2k% enemy boost, max silver is at trial 2, max gold/platinum is at trial 24)
Trial 31-49:
- if you cannot yet handle trial 50 profitably (i.e. do up to at least attrition 30 or so on it), but can handle more than trial 30, they'll still offer more platinum coins
- if you want to trade some but not all of your extra silver coins from trial 30 to get increased platinum. (i.e. if you can handle 6000%, trial 50 is already peak-platinum at 29k per round but only 90k/round silver which isn't enough for 7 tourney grounds for instance; meanwhile peak silver is trial 30 at 165k/round but platinum's only 13k per round. Perhaps someone would like to meet somewhere in the middle like trial 40 with 133k silver/round and 20k platinum/round.
I will agree they could remove about 1/5th of the trials though ; i.e. reducing 1-50 down to 1-10, selecting one trial from approx each section of 5 (1 because it's the "normal" baseline, 30 and 50 because they're peak points, and then 35,40,45 for high-end gradation and say 4, 10, 16, 22 for low-end gradation), would still have enough room for the 3 key points (attrition, silver, platinum), and a little bit of gradation for people who get some value from the in-between points.
