Discussion Game becoming too complex ?

I wonder why we have this discussion it's not that they will listen, the time of listening to player's wishes is already history for a while, even if they do change things like they did in GBG it's not the changes according the players wishes but the we know better developer's

FoE is not becoming more complex. The endlessly increasing boosts to event building are making it more dumbed down every event. I started a new city on a new world two months ago and already have 652/585 red boosts in Iron Age. Can already fight GE5 except for last four encounters, but always have a surplus of goods to negotiate. It is not at all more complex, just way more time consuming and $$$ oriented. See QI for latest example of both traits.
