I don't know whether this is sloppy wording or incorrect counting.
Stage 7 has the need to 'Collect 600 Tavern Silver or buy 8 Forge Points.'
I have just gained fps from tavern sitting and these were credited on the quest.
So, either
the wording needs to be "Collect 600 Tavern Silver, or gain 8 Forge Points by buying or sitting at friends' taverns"
or
the inclusion of fps from tavern sitting needs to stopped.
