I love the new vineyard with it's upgrades and extra lawns and groves. Just as pretty in my city as the 3 bakeries. But it is huge! I agree with others that maybe it is time to make getting land to build these beauties a lot easier. I'm not after the most GBs in random configuration, I actually enjoy arranging my cities to look like ideal real cities, but I need land!

I'm not sure yet, but I'm going to assume that. The vineyard is like the train and it does not matter what you connect to it.
The problem is that the area is too large. For example, if you take a checkmate place with a 3x3 area, it has more combat power with a smaller area than this sypress pass with 5x2.

I was really lucky when I chose the coach that gives a better chance of winning the daily special and for once I got 5 vineyard building choices! Very tempting to build the 2nd vineyard, but I think I'll wait till I have all of it together in my inventory and then choose what to build and what to auction off. As Marc says there are smaller buildings that give you more combat or other powers, but it depends if you like the pretty.

I did it in live server... I got 6.
