Hmm finish the 1 hour 4 times and the 1 x 24 hr do not appear to be working, on the new quest

I agree. For most of the FoE Cup, I was stuck upon scout a province. Due to the last several quests, I am wayyyyyy ahead on the map. I lack the army and the goods to move forward. I am at a tech tree standstill I see that this will be another quest that I won't finish.

Five of the eleven quests require scouting, taking sectors or taking a province on the continent map. You just killed any interest I have in working this event....AGAIN.

Not sure why we have so many events. This game quickly becoming a full time job. It is nice to have free stuff, do not get me wrong, but the spacing of the event is questionable.
On live servers now we are running the month-long soccer even and I am sure many will be tired of it by the end. And there will be no downtime as immediately a new historical event will be launched. I am not sure if Inno is planning the usual summer casino (and they better be as many are looking forward to it) but that would be again on the heels of the historical event.There are just so many layers of this game now – like the pirate chest (which is often forgotten as the check mark show up randomly, once in a while), guild expedition, GvG, PvP tower challenge, trading, GB acquisition and leveling, city building, technical tree advancement, quests, continental map and on top of this all the events. And not even talking about the half finished Arctic disaster that rendered Observatories, Arcs and Atoms useless.
Events are fun but they should not be a chore as they feel now. I wonder if the designers really play the game as the rest of us ... if they do then they should have realized that they are making this game very demanding and the fun is seeping away from it.
If they really want us to play the events then they at least should offer alternatives to researching techs and continental map related quests. These can be time consuming, especially in later eras – and source of frustration for some. Especially since the events are staggered many feel pushed to advance.

I wont be finishing this event in time. Even if I had the provinces to scout, I was unable to engage in any combat to get more scouting zones (loading screen was on loop and never loaded combat), putting me way behind on the questline. Even if I could go to combat, my EMA troops even with a 15% bonus are not enough to defeat HMA heavies with their massive defense (my 9 attack versus 25 defense). I'll be able to complete this questline in my main world because I've completed the map already, but this is ridiculous. 5 scouting missions? What if I was in CA or above where all of the scouting takes longer than 24 hours?? I'd never be able to complete this questline in time.
What the hell Inno? I thought you were going to give us the option to donate FP onto GB's instead of scouting/research?

Why not? They made an event about a mass killer and father of the slave trade Christopher Columbus therefore I don't see any reason why they wouldn't make an event about naive, selfish, oblivious and self-indulgent fool who divided her nation and brought it to the brink of disaster.

Clicking on the question mark we get the info, that the event will run until 28th of July. Is that the end of it here on beta? That is a really long time for an event with 11 quests.

but you have the countdown timer

I have a general question. Why is there always a date in any questline that you don't follow? For example the Maria Stuart Questline ... there was a date which said the ons should finish the questline till something in Juli. And now today its not avaiable anymore... I dont understand this. And I thinks its totally unfair!
