New Idea Era Based Goods Building Window

Nikogi

Farmer
Reason
Managing Goods buildings becomes increasingly difficult as the city grows. When players have many buildings from different eras, it takes unnecessary time and effort to manually search through them to identify which Goods-producing buildings they own and which they are missing.
Details
I propose adding a dedicated Goods Buildings Overview interface.

A new button could be placed in Building Mode (or another logical UI location).

Clicking it would open a slide-out panel from the right side, with a collapsible arrow button.

The left side of the panel would display eras, starting from the earliest era up to the player’s current era.

Each era would be shown as a separate tile/window, with a representative image for quick visual recognition.

The familiar white-bearded Forge of Empires guide character could briefly explain the function of this panel.

When selecting an era:

The panel header would display the era name.

Below it, a counter such as 5/10 would indicate:

Total Goods buildings available in that era (10)

Number currently owned by the player (5)

Further down:

Icons/images of all Goods buildings from that era

Owned buildings displayed normally

Missing buildings displayed dimmed/darkened

Each building labeled with its Goods type

Clicking a building would open detailed information
Balance
This feature does not change gameplay mechanics, production rates, or progression. It is purely a quality-of-life UI improvement that enhances clarity and reduces frustration.
Abuse Prevention
No exploitation risks. The feature only displays information already accessible to the player, but in a more organized and user-friendly way.
Summary
A centralized Goods Buildings Overview panel would significantly improve usability. Players could instantly see:

Which Goods buildings they own

Which they are missing

Which era they belong to

This eliminates the need to manually inspect buildings one by one and keeps all Goods-related information in a single, convenient interface.
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
I have read some similars like adding building look things but not exactly this.
Visual Aids

Here you can see concept of this gui, yellow is an goods building that we own, this building which we own will be in lighter colour and which we don't own will be dark that we don't own it, there will be names on bottom of buildings box's or on top and when we click on it there will be more details about that building. Also in this window here can be Tutorial Character who is telling us something like "Here you can view all the Goods buildings you own from this era!"

And button that we see, arrow button is for closing it so it's more easy for mobile players too for access it, better than opening annoying big windows, we can do it fastly by opening this window from right side.

There are 5 goods buildings per era.
A player has deposit (initially) for 2 types of goods for that era.
Further down, an additional 1 (or 2) goods types becomes available for that era (requires going far down into the continent map into an age that is far from yours if you're in the early ages).
Most players would build goods buildings close to each other on some part of their city.
Due to the new meta with event and special buildings, majority of the players do not use good buildings anymore (not even the big, clunkier 2-lane ones).

So, in short, I don't know how this will help.

Well "most players" but not everyone, some people build many buildings and then they forget where they do place that goods buildings, even me, like I struggle finding buildings by clicking that goods buildings one by one and it's annoying for me, that's why this would be good, also how this is Extreme Change? This doesn't changes anything Extreme at all, This simply organizes all the Goods buildings into one space so that it is easy and accessible for the player to see.

It's not extreme change, This simply organizes all the Goods buildings into one space so that it is easy and accessible for the player to see, this is just a like statistics.

@Nikogi

I live for Tetris, and when I say that, I tend to go into my city to see what's needed to go and what's needed to stay and what's needed to be placed. In that time, I would just hit the reconstruct mode, clean the entire grid, and then place buildings like laying tile (for me).

Now, that you had explained it further, I am beginning to understand the need for this. It would help those who relied on the ordinary goods building in trying to find them and see how many they have. I don't know if you use FoE Helper, but in there, it would show you the goods buildings you have in the city along with the location of such. But, seeing that you're suggesting this, I take it that you don't use it (which is fine) and that Inno will have to put this in to improve the QoL aspect of gaming; especially, in cities that are getting bigger by the minute.

Also, I take it you're new so pay no mind to the supposed "mini-Moderator" in our midst that would try and dictate many things. Majority of the members here have him on ignore, but I don't as sometimes he would humor me and I would drop in a few lines of text myself to sit him down.

I understand you, and I'm not new, I playing this game since 2020 on other server, and I'm mobile players so there is no FoE Helped Available for me on Mobile which is difficult that's why I suggested this.
