Summary
QOL improvement: fragments in inventory separated from the other inventory items
Have you looked to see if this has already been suggested?
Yes and only find a similar QOL for inventory for specific buildings and search bar, letter has been implemented
As increasingly more fragments are introduced, they're making the inventory increasingly difficult to manage and navigate through. From the community the question is also rising more and more to add a dedicated tab for fragments for the inventory.

Important to note that the most important part of this suggestion is not finding the fragments, but hiding fragments from the main inventory...

i.e. it's less important to have a fragments-only tab than it is to have a no-fragments tab :p

Perhaps inventory could use a filter instead of the tab system? Where you could just tick "hide incomplete fragment stacks"?

Or perhaps inventory could use an overhaul entirely - because often similar items are separated - i.e. you can't see your level 1 buildings beside the upgrades & selection kits for that building unless you specifically search. So if you're scrolling through your inventory looking for "complete" items, it can be hard to see what all you've got. And not even search will find a selection kit hidden inside a league reward. So perhaps items should be tagged as being associated with a particular event and have that be a first-order search key. "General" for buildings that don't have an associated special event (like stage of ages) could come first, and then the rest could be bunched by event.

@drakenridder Love the idea, but..

Our perspective and energy about Inno's inexorable march to fragmenting the game would seemingly get diluted if you say this gets an "out of sight, out of mind" solution.

Right now, this is front and center stage in all event feedback posts here, or at least it's one of our HOT items about game and event developments we're not fond of.

If you remember, we howled about train cars being fragmented, and Inno fixed that from near unanimity of player position on it.

Once we put fragments on their own Inventory tab, Inno says - the problem is then solved; we gave you your asked for solution
, and our "noise" goes way down. We're basically trading that as a solution, for the community being vocal about the change as strategically and tactically undesirable for the game (from our perspective).

If I were an Inno product manager, I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. Trade us getting a "forever" tactical solution (new tab for fragments) for a tacit cleared path they can now take on fragmenting more and more stuff - keep doing it.

Because we have a solution - the "itch" to scratch is gone. It will have us quite a bit less vocal about it - which is going to happen because the pain threshold of scrolling through all these pages of fragments in our current SINGLE inventory is no longer the issue it now is.....)

Where's the poll?

I am only fortunate that the fragments appear first in inventory and the ones that are full appear very very first after FP packs. So yes would appreciate an option.

@planetofthehumans2 they've changed things around in the forum. There's no poll, only up and down voting. Under the starting message there's a number with arrows on the sides. One points up (up voting) and the other points down (down voting).

Maybe it is a better idea to group all related items:
For exemple: create a group 'Shrine of Knowledge' containing
- SoK of all ages, now each age has a separate entry
- SoK upgrade
- Fragments of Sok
- Fragments of SoK upgrade
You would need an extra click if you want to use an item, but it would provide more structure in the inventory

@BeeVee it's possible do the same already. Just insert shrine of knowledge in the search bar and only SoK related items are filtered through in the inventory.
The issue for most with fragments is that it's "spamming" the first inventory places. While many like to browse through their inventory, it's limited by the fragments. An additional tab for fragments specifically will fix this. It's entirely durable since they've removed the tab "gifts" since the devs changed their mind from the first days of forge. Fragments can take that spot.
