Feedback Cozy Up for the Winter Event 2024

Thank you for the diamonds. At 2 turns given a day (that is including the Daily Quest possibilities, not likely to win more than a 10 wooden bell) & you have approximately 2 Event quests per day (if you want to spread them out over the full amount of days for the Event). That is around 4 turns a day against 14 houses (of course if you do not hit the shuffle). That means if you actually want a decent game you have to get more bells. Saving mine up for Rival. I'll save up my diamond spending for later on.
~~~
And yes I have factored in that you will be giving us double so 2 Turns later per day & adding the 1 you can get with the Daily quest making it 3 later on & the event quest amount going up to 2 turns each quest so making it a total of 7 per day (which is more reasonable). Just working with what we have at the moment. Rival requires a few Turns so saving mine up for that. When we get the extra later I will be able to play a few games.
~~~
The Winter Event has been the slowest of all the Events as it is over the longest period. Looking forward to a few bells with my incident pick up to enable a bit more game play.

all active players now received 1500 diamonds for testing :)
Thanks Juber... But just a question for clarification? Why do we allways first complain before the dias for testing are credited? I would love seeing this as a routine within the Beta-Livegoing process! It is already a usual complaint in the first 2 days of an event start on beta. Just make it transparent during the intro of an event and folks maybe not start complaining. Many of us are also on live servers. The negative prevailing mood starts with the betas experiences given to live

For those calculating the total bells we get, the daily quests give 80 bells per quest (or at least quest 39 and 40 do).

Rush quest: 380
Daily quest: 2560
Daily winter present (the free quest we can collect every day): 330
Daily challange (average): 780 (=24.4 x 32)
Milestone: 200
Rival (3): unknown
Thanks your putting figures together :)

If it was a routine to add them on the 2nd day of the event, but people complain that they're not there yet on the first day, would it not look the same as it does now?

One of the advantages of them being added on the 2nd day is people who weren't active, but will become so once the event starts, get the diamonds too.

That's why I don't grant them while I am announcing an event, but rather afterwards, after the event launched (when I have time again). If it however is wanted, that I provide them as soon as possible, I can add them earlier.

No prob... just make it transparent even if it is at the last day of the event. But part of frustration is starting already here on day one
One is asked to test the event. And one wants to do the job but at least me hates begging for something. So if it would be transparent that the dias for testing will be credited in day one to x I would be fine

Thank you for the info Juber. Asking where the diamonds are isnt complaining imo. For myself the confusion started when I read that some had been given them and others not so that is why I decided to ask about it before reporting a bug on my end :)

Personally I'd be fine if they were added before a rival starts as this is imho the earliest they are really "needed".
Again personally, I use those gifted diamonds for expansions at the moment :p

I have yet to find or be lucky enough to get a single key. Worse than last year for some reason. :(
I'm struggling a bit with the visuals and the logic behind it. For me, it should be the other way round. So houses are illuminated at first and when clicking on them they should darken. I get that we're trying to accomplish the candles vibe from the previous years, but I find myself struggling to see which houses haven't been clicked on and which ones haven't.
As somebody else mentioned, maybe show the won prices for the lighted houses, so it becomes clearer.

Also the amount of event currency and progress is always a bit of a damper for the Holiday event. I find that event very boring due to its length and that you can barely do anything due to lack of currency combined with the little progress you make per day. It doesn't really motivate me to play since there's no real sense of joy due to little accomplishments that can be made.

Don't think I will get anywhere near a lvl 10 Tower, I won't be able to collect enough bells to illuminate the number of
houses required so for me the event is a washout

LOL - talk about "COZY UP for the Winter event..."

I'm getting 80 wooden bells each day from the quest - for about 30 more days.... Wow this is a long event.

Event, Haven't got to 120 yet on the Prize bar, spent todays bells and have done
over a third of the quests 26/70 so the event is a nonstarter if it is released live in
this format there is going to be a lot of disgruntled players

Since the fandom seems to be abandoned, is there another source for infos about this event? I would be mostly interested in the alternative daily prizes (is there a Summerhold Manor Selection Kit or a Heroes Tavern Selection Kit)?
