Not A Bug: Chrono Column give no extra Units

Could a safety feature please be built in so that the building cannot be put down in the city when it no longer has any effect? With QI started, it doesn't add anything, but you lose a valuable building.

Contact support.
If enough people need this feature it will be developed (like the hospital for dead troops)

That is one way. The other is an economic incentive.
If support need to fix something manually and there are many requests then automating it is cost effective.

If there are not enough requests then you still get what you need, even if it is done manually.
In this case recovering a temporary building that gave no benefit because you put it down at the wrong time.
