Dear Players,
As you remember, over a week ago we were forced to change the time of GvG daily calculation from 8 PM to 10 AM on short notice. This was necessary due to availability issues that our game has been experiencing (notably on Thursday, 10th of September). The switch made it possible for us to look deeper and to ensure that the game would perform adequately in the short term. We have discovered that there were some other underlying problems which in addition to high load caused by the ongoing Hero’s Tale event, led to the problems with accessing the game. The issues have been isolated, and we now are free to move the daily calculation again.
Therefore, as the feedback from your side made it very clear to us, that you do not support the change and you would prefer to have the daily calculation kept at 8 PM, we have decided that we will switch it back to the time that you like. The change will take place on 24th of September. This means that on that day the daily calculation will take place twice: at 10 AM and then at 8 PM.
Unfortunately, this does not mean the performance issues around the GvG daily calculation have been solved. We will still look into resolving these and we’ll have more information for you in a few weeks. For now, it’s just a change of the time back to the time that you have so vocally preferred because the danger we saw has passed.
