In this update we are implementing technical improvements, bug fixes and adding content for future events. You can find highlights of these changes down below.

Bugfixes

  • Popups:
    • Some popups thought they could make a fashion statement by adding a small line below them. We didn't quite agree with their fashion sense, so we promptly removed it to keep things clean and sleek.
  • Halloween Event:
    • Stealing is definitely not nice, but using a thief card is! However, it was a bit messy when each reward was displayed in a separate window. We've tidied things up by displaying all the rewards neatly together in one window. It's all about efficiency, even for the tricksters!
    • Using healing cards could be a bit confusing, especially when the animation was displayed above the enemy card, even if it didn't affect it. We've straightened things out and fixed this confusion. Now, the animation will only appear if it actually affects the enemy card. Healing with clarity!
  • Quests:
    • "Advance to the next age" sounds simple, right? Well, unfortunately, this specific quest actually requires you to reach the Early Middle Ages. We agree that clarity is crucial, so we've adjusted the quest text to accurately represent the requirement. No more "next age" confusion - it's all about the Early Middle Ages now!
Mobile Only Changes


Keep in mind that the time the mobile update becomes available depends on the stores and can be some days after the release of the browser version. Don't be surprised if you don't see the update on your mobile devices at the exact same time.
  • Loading:
    • The loading screen always seemed stuck at 0% for a while, creating some confusion. Well, fret no more! We've fixed the issue, and now the loading bar will correctly represent the progress. You'll no longer feel stuck at the starting line!
  • Guild Battlegrounds:
    • Remember when we introduced the label that displays your chance to gain attrition? Well, it turns out we made a mistake with the background color at exactly 40% attrition chance. Oops! But worry not, we've aligned the background color to match the browser version. Consistency is key!
  • Rankings:
    • When we introduced a new ranking for guilds, we unintentionally introduced a small bug in the old rankings. You couldn't scroll past the first 50 guilds! But rest assured, we've fixed this issue. You can now freely navigate through all the guild rankings once again.
  • Great Buildings:
    • Android seems to dislike nothing, literally! If you entered 'nothing' in the field to donate Forge Points and tried donating, you would encounter an internal error. We don't want any hiccups, so we've disabled the donate button until you actually enter a number. No more errors caused by nothingness!

We also want to give you a bit more details on what we are working on at the moment. It's snowy season on beta! We recently released the Winter Event with tons of new buildings and reward! If you want to help shaping new event and features for everyone to enjoy, don't hesitate to join our beta server!

We also would like to make an additional announcement for our mobile players: in the coming days, the GvG ranking (based on prestige) will disappear from the mobile version of the game. As announced previously, we will be shutting down GvG in the near future. The removal of the GvG rankings from the mobile version is a part of our technical preparation for it.

Since GvG was never available on mobile, we find that upkeeping its rankings there would be redundant. We apologize for any inconvenience it brings to our current GvG players, who reference rankings on mobile!
