The event will be running from June 13th to July 4th.

Work together with your world to reach the ambitious goal of planting over 200.000 trees in total! Every contribution not only helps our environment but also rewards you with valuable in-game rewards, including exclusive event buildings like the Eco Hub and the Orchard of Orange Dreams.

The success of our mission depends on everyone — in unity, we will grow stronger!

Dear tree-planters,
with the update on Tuesday we will apply changes to the balancing of the reward buildings. We decided to make the boosts provided less general and specialize more on the different areas of the game. We also plan to go forward with that strategy in future event. Therefore we are very excited to hear what you think about this.
As this is a major overhaul of the stats, we won't give you a list of what changed, we simply adjusted the rewards page: https://support.innogames.com/kb/ForgeOfEmpires/en_DK/3879

A Message from Matt
Hey Everyone,

Thank you so much for your participation and support in our first Care for Tomorrow event. We appreciate all the feedback you sent and worked hard to integrate your suggestions into the final design. Additionally, the effort put into planting trees was amazing, and you were the first to reach the final World Challenge goal, showing your strong commitment to achieving a more sustainable future.
As we prepare for the Live Release, we have been working together with our partner dots.eco to ensure that the impact we, as a community, are making on the global environment is visible to each of you. Since the results of our collective impact will only be announced once all the other worlds have had their chance to contribute, we will schedule the distribution of your participation certificates along with those of the other servers.
Each of you will receive an in-game message with a link to your individual certificate, detailing the results from your server, and a link to an interactive map presenting all the institutions we supported. The map will provide more information about their projects, and if you are interested in helping further, you can reach out to the project organizers and actively cooperate with them.
Thank you once again for being such an active and passionate community. Please continue sending your feedback so we can keep improving our game.

Matt

Dear Adventurers!

You have successfully achieved all in-game goals, leading to a significant environmental impact!

As a result of your efforts, 217,493 trees will be planted through Dots.eco’s environmental partners.

The organizations responsible for this on-the-ground work include Eden: People + Planet, ECOAN and Acción Andina partners, Friends of Usambara, and Trees for the Future.

The tree-planting projects supported by Dots.eco fall into two primary categories: restoration planting and conversion planting. These initiatives are focused not on planting commercial trees for short-term gains but on long-term restoration efforts and cultural integration of sustainable practices. They actively involve local communities, providing them with empowerment opportunities through tree nursery operations, planting, and maintenance. This collaboration ensures that the restoration efforts are both effective and sustainable, benefiting both the environment and the people involved.

What are the next steps?

Once your impact is registered, the Dots.eco system automatically allocates it to one of the projects chosen by us - the Forge of Empires team - for support. Dots.eco notifies the environmental partner responsible for planting your tree and send them the funds to do so. They provide confirmation once the tree is planted, usually through reports, photos, and videos from the field. However, planting the tree is just the beginning. Dots.eco will continue to check in quarterly with their partners to monitor the project's progress, address challenges, and ensure it remains on track. Additionally, they check in on planting sites with their eyes in the sky, using remote sensing imagery to track vegetation growth over time and verify the impact on a larger scale.

By signing up to status updates with Dots.eco, you can track the progress of your impact. Alternatively, you may check the status with your certificate ID on this website.

If you have any further questions about the awesome initiative or want to give feedback, head over to our feedback thread and let us know your thoughts!

Thank you for participating and making this possible!
Your Forge of Empires Team
