Feedback Care for Tomorrow Event 2024

Splendid. 24 minutes before the event ends the server goes into maintenance mode. That means that nobody can make any progress while the clock ticks away. :D
I think I can thank this maintenance :p Events end while i'm asleep and i thought i was safe. Made it barely:

I did not spend any diamonds and got in gold league. That's not normal.

It's not abnormal for this style of event on beta if you play it actively and wisely. There's enough ways to screw it up that most people won't fall in that category. (wasted keys, overspawning). Plus it's beta so a significant portion of the event population is there just to peek at its mechanics.

Live depends on your server - there are worlds in some regions where it's possible live too I think - but generally you should expect to have to spend some on live US worlds at least. Because there's a larger portion of spenders to compete with "just playing it well".

Incidentally I *did* spend some diamonds for my barely-gold. But my play was sporadic. Possibly missed some daily logins and free resets. Definitely missed free keys from daily challenge most days. And did both rivals in 1 day when ideally you spread them over 3 to keep your reset costs down.
 
I don't know if on beta we got some sort of notification for the parrot, I never saw it at all in the last couple days, but if we didn't we significantly need one especially as some players say that forces you to stop playing the game.

Although to be honest inno really introduced an extremely annoying event mechanic. Why was the progress not tied to the amount of unlockable squares on the board, why was it 20 and not 35? Why put it on a separate screen and not on the already rewards page we have, or just incorporate the prices there? World prices are not inherently bad, but the monkey that could type Shakespeare would have thought of a better execution than this.

Obviously I didn't get enough frags to build the world price. No way to complete it now.

Less obviously I was one kit short of the main building. That wasn't inno's fault because beta's my secondary world and I paid less attention. No way to complete it now because my ranking reward was a level 1 building rather than a selection kit which doesn't make any sense because I wouldn't need 2 level 1's if I couldn't finish the first building. So I ask inno why on the level 1 building, knowing the people in the bottom 75% might not have even gotten to the last level of the main building.

But I did get 15 golden athon abbey upgrades on the last day, good thing I don't have any athon abbeys in my city or my inventory.

So all of the prices of this event were total garbage and I can't place any of them. :D
 
I think the ladybug level 3 and 4 flower should be changed from white to yellow. The current one is confusing looking very like the helf key.

The problem is more pronanced on level 3 than in level 4

Changing the coilour should fix the problem. Or removing the small flower(s) will do too.

In Rival the key type should include the colour too.
While two type (ladybug & leaf) are clear from the picture. But the third one (Algae/Bouble) isn't clear. Adding the colour name would solve the issue.

@Juber told that cheatsheet mentioned with names, but it was not. When they made the world challenge screen design change, I didn't try to open cheatsheet looking for the names. It is there or now, no idea. If anyone opened the cheatsheet in the last days of the event can tell the name changes included or not.

True, but not yellow. Purple would be best choice with the red and black combination.

Level 3 lady bugs design should be altered. Purple flower should be kept in the middle and all the three lady bugs should point to the flower in the middle.

Same way level 4 lady bugs design also need to be adjusted, one purple flower for one pair of lady bugs.

Initially I had this design change in mind, but mobile not getting world challenge for first week made me missed to mention this change.

Please give me the workers count to reach that much progress. I am not able to cross 3.5k progress but you guys are above 7k+ progress that too without diamonds. Workers total spending details is required because I wish to do the same in live server.

I too collected 500 incidents and few more from incidents 100, 20 etc and from daily challenge also got two times workers. Day one finished till rush quests, played only 3 boards then waiting very badly for next day to play another three boards. When rivals arrived, didn't maintain 3 board logic and completed the rivals. Also, chest I made sure every day 54 progress is available for first pick. I am not sure what went wrong.

@All Free Now, I didn't reach 8k progress without diamonds and I didn't mention like that. I spend very exactly 8.4k diamonds to get three orchard's and three eco's. I have no idea how they reach 7k+ progress without diamonds, so deal me out from this.

I don't know how much it was
all quests, both rivals completed, all daily challenges and collecting incidents

so the same as everybody (with a few 100 difference for randomness in DC and incidents)

but when spending keys I balanced it out,. had over 100 red less than the other 2 colors but ended with 2/0/2 keys
so when a chest without red was there I took that and not the 27

There is another source to the randomness: level of locked tiles.

A board has 32 locked tile, but this can be between 32 and 128 progress depending on the level present on the board.
How much you manage to unlock also affect it, but the points present have a huge variability.
 
The only thing I criticize in this event are the daily prizes, there were too often single gold upgrades in it. I can't do anything with this if I can't even get the normal building to max level. I think it would be better to replace these prizes with a gold selection kit, then you would also have the opportunity to use the gold level.

Das einzige was ich in diesem Event bemängle sind die Tagespreise, da waren mir zu oft einzelne Goldupgrades drin. Mit diesen kann ich absolut gar nichts anfangen wenn in das normale Gebäude nichtmal auf die max Stufe bekomme. Ich fände es besser diese Preise durch ein Gold-Auswahlkit auszutauschen, dann hätte man auch die Möglichkeit die goldstufe zu nutzen.

  • Amount of Fragment rewards has been increased roughly by a factor of 10
The last part seems to be not completely correct.

The original value was 5 fragments (useless, unless we already produced them then it was basically useless).

The new value doesn't seems to be 10 times (or 50) but 1/3 of a complete item.
So 50 if 150 fragments, but only 34 if 100 fragments (like feast and fables selection kit).

So basically the building is still mostly useless. It has a chance of speeding up something we already produce. If we do not produce the corresponding fragment already (example silver kit when we produce golden kit or viceversa, with 30 collection we are probably not getting a full item with a sigle building.
The only ay this produces a full kit of somthing (good luck having something usefull) is if we have a lot of them (or keep placing new down once they are expired. A nice idea not fully formed.

The best thing of this event is that can allow you produce more than 20K FPs per day thanks to the main building! And there a some others events buildings which gives you tons of population to put multiple coppies of this new 6x6 event building!

Quadratic Growth. Since Eco Hub is both efficient in FP/tile and gives FP boost, the more of them you add the more the next one's worth. It was already possible a year or so ago to hit 10k FP/day with some chain chicanery combined with blue galaxy and finishes.

Now you can go even higher with less tricks. Haven't actually run the numbers, but I have no problem believing 20k.

The Orchard of Orange Dreams from this event is a good population provider to go with the Eco Hub as it also has a large and efficient collection. 1 Orchard can support a bit over 4 hubs.

Now the question is, what do you actually want all that FP for? :)
 
Oui :') il existe un moyen, avec certains bâtiments, de gagner 20K fps par jour depuis votre ville grâce à plusieurs copies de l'Eco hub, le mauvais côté : votre défense d'attaque bleue et rouge va beaucoup craindre, mais cela n'a pas d'importance pour moi, les Fps sont tout pour moi.

Running the numbers for fun, I estimate that at least 60k FP/day is possible through a hypothetical mass eco sanctums and orchards (using the finishes generated by the sanctums to finish the productions of more sanctums).

Fully expanded city less the townhall has 3942 squares. 71 eco sanctums and 16 orchards take 3169 squares (39 squares per 6x6 sanctum that needs road; 25 squares per 5x5 orchards that doesn't). And including 15 75% blue galaxy charges and 1 forgotten temple will generate 58,473.5 FP/day by themself.

(71+15*0.75)*ROUND(145*(120%+71*3%)) * 30/23 = 51,817.5 FP
16*ROUND(125*(120%+71*3%)) = 6,656 FP

In the remaining 770ish squares you fit 1 forgotten temple, key GBs, and valuable things that can benefit from your 233% FP boost - like settlement main buildings and event league prizes. This should get you past 60k.
