Bug or feature: inconsistent finish-goods-production ..

.. compared to the other finish/-all/-yy-productions: while the text of the tooltip starts the same for all concrete types yy (coin, supply, goods)

"Use this item to instantly finish all yy productions in your city. This does not apply to special productions .. "

the coin and supply rushes can be applied to buildings producing varying items (depending on production times) as long as the chosen production is the type of rush item, that's not the case for goods.

Where is the error? The others applying to those mixed product buildings, or the goods not doing the same? Or if they are meant to behave differently: why?

Coin rushes can only be applied to things that are exclusively coins. Supply rushes can only be applied exclusively to supplies. If you have a mixed production the coin and supply rushes won't work

It's not an error, it's just so there's not a million tickets asking why it's exclusively goods production and what happens in edge cases

hmm - that's not what I'm seeing (probably wasn't clear enough ;). Examples:

A: start a 5' production in Sunken Treasure or a 15' production in Sleigh Builder (both producing supplies) and any supply boost is working. Or start a 5' in Sleigh Builder or 15' in Sunken Treasure (both producing coins), then any coins boost is working.

B: start a 8h prod in Sunken Treasure or 24h in Sleigh Builder and goods boosts are not working.

A against B is inconsistent, IMO.

Ok. It’s specifically for buildings on the build menu on the goods tab.
 
It was released alongside the Finish Special Production. Both function based on building type instead of output type

hmm .. again not what I'm seeing: special production boost works on any building type as long as the output is somehow mixed - either several types at a fixed time or different output types depending on production time (in the latter case, it finishes the production, even if it is a basic type like coins/supplies/goods ..). The goods boost is quite the contrary: fixated on exact one building type with exactly one output type exactly.

Playing guessing games is fun - even watching others doing so ;).

I don't know about the other mixed production buildings but the coin rush and the supply rush works on the Sleigh Builder when the production is coins or supplies and matched with the rush being used.
 
okay, a decision is a decision - though boost-every-building-type-except-those-with-only-single-basic-productions for special boost is ... not immediately obvious as meaning "depend on building type" nor as being the same general rule as goods boost. Anyway,

a) where's that rule documented?
b) the tooltips are incorrect, should be re-worded to make the difference - between coin/supply and goods boosts - crystal-clear.
