Backstabbed in a Backwater GBG: What do you spend your level 299,999 plat coins on

I just wanted to use that as a title. So I'm not in a top guild. I'm in a very small guild with a few good players. We maintain diamond rank, but we nearly never get the full level 1 GBG castle at the end of the tourneys. So I'm like, whatever, I'll just buy the rest of the frags with the plat coins and gain the frags for the level 2 every day by collections.

Until I realized it was going to take more than 3 years to get a full set for level 2 which is 100% grade A BS.

Now I'm just like, wow, there's nothing in this shop that I can buy because by the time I have even half of the level 2, I would have deleted that castle already. And then its like, well if I just wait a little longer then the frags would be discounted, but then it looms closer to the castle being obsolete so why bother.

Oh you mean that BS on top of other store BS

Yeah, still waiting until they decide to remove the limit from purchasing diamonds with gold coins and add a diamond purchase with platinum coin as the other stuff is not of interest to me.

But, looks like I will be waiting 15 days and 7 hours until I can buy again with the gold coin.

If you're referring to the upgrade frags that the lvl 1 generates, it should be less than a year (1/day, 350 days). Throw in a max blue galaxy used on the collections and it's down to 200 days. Far less than 3 years.

As for buying things: Play higher trials and you can get it sooner. Apart from what's needed to get into and win a super-round, I try to play trial 50 for the platinum.

Example: if you can beat 10k% boost, you could play:
- trial 2 and pull in 3,500 platinum per round and be in your dilemma of never affording anything.
- trial 30 and pull in 17,000 platinum per round. throw in say 5k/round for finish and you can afford a full level every few championships. If you're getting some frags then every now and then one of them could be a level 2 before its irrelevant.
- trial 50 and pull in 51,000 platinum per round. good for at least 1 extra level per championship.

---

My current plan when I pick one GBG tower to really want:
- Earn at least half a Lv1 through frags in its current season and end on 300k platinum.
- Buy the remaining Lv1 frags immediately following the season. Save up to 270k and buy the 2nd Lv1 asap during the 2nd-season. Build both.
- Use BG on the two buildings daily until I get 1 upgrade (~100 days = ~1 championship + 1 round).
- Buy a selection kit the following season for 240k for the 2nd upgrade for 2 Lv 2s. Or if I've decided by then to focus on a future one, just store the unupgraded lv 1.

To get the 2 level 2s assuming a full half-required means in that 2nd season I need to earn:

(3,150 * 50 + 270,000 + 240,000 - 300,000) = 367,500 in the follow-up championship + 1 round. And then have 5 rounds of that championship to save up 300kish to do that championship's building.

This means to get 2 Lvl 2s every 2 championships I need ~330k per championship plus the cost of however much short of half a lvl 1 i am from diamond-placement frags; or ~55k a round (not much more than trial 50 beating 10k% - probably the round end prize gets me there)

I don't earn "a lot" very fast in a combination of being a mid gbg player and not winning #1 every round with the guild prize. I feel like I'm just below that top tier of gbg players now, but really I can't get past att 50 on trial 50 or att 100 on trial 1. I'm not really sure if it'll make a difference because I feel like I do give so much more effort than the average player to do all of these thousands of fights. Maybe it's just not worth to get the guild to a better placement by doing more fights at trial 1, or maybe I should just join a top guild.

What about are your gbg %'s to get you that many fights, how much fights/att should I be aiming to get?

10000% is 42 attrition on trial 50, you're past there. That should be good for 50k a round.

My stronger GBG world is able to fight to ~20k% comfortably and scrape past 40k% if i have to. So usually does ~70 attrition avg on trial 50 for ~80k / round on 50.

Trial 1/2 is only worth it if it gets the guild fragments of the tower to save some platinum. i.e. 1st is worth ~120k platinum worth of fragments. So if it takes dropping to trial 2 to get there, it's worth it for that round.

Generally I'm aiming for fall out of diamond in round 1/4 (just build for attrition reduction and farm on trial 50). Fight back to diamond in 2/5 (usually not much of a stretch - but might have to drop trial for a day or two if it's a tough round or if need 1st-only). And fight for placement for frags in 3/6 (trial 2 until best we can do is secure and then trial 50).

it used to be a fun game... seriously? have you played it before??? players who played battlefields at 100% spent hours in the game to do 5-7 thousand battles a day!! is this what you call fun?? now you choose version 50 and a maximum of 500 battles it's already fun for 30 minutes. the only thing the game has become crap is that they introduced a lot of improvements that can only be obtained for real money and in the pursuit of quick enrichment the developers multiply by 0 any good building at most after six months, because something even better appears and everything old needs to be updated because it is outdated (and after six months it turns out that your entire city is outdated and lost in the jungle...) but as fun - it still remains fun...

For platinum coins, you need to reach Trial 50.
At Trial 50, reaching 52 attrition points grants you over 5,000 platinum coins per day, or approximately 60,000 per session (with guild bonuses at the end).
And our bonuses increase so quickly that the maximum attrition also increases. Alone in my guild, having reached gold, platinum, and exceptionally diamond, I've already been able to buy a level 2 citadel with the coins.

You have to fight with 20% attrition.
