Not A Bug: [Android] Version 1.40 has Christmas buildings, but not the event

Yesterday in the evening I got version 1.40 of the Android app. When I log in, I see all my Christmas buildings (Winter Spire, Charming Cotage, Sleigh Builder), but not the event itself (neither the quests, nor the window with the presents and the candles on the Christmas Tree). Is this intended?

Android users received the update but iOS hasn't yet...the winter event will be launched on all platforms at the same time as I understood from Zarok Dais reply in the feedback thread...so we're waiting for apple to catch up to android :)
