Hmm... The file names seem to have changed... Currently none of the links above lead to a viable image. Might check later. or they scrapped this idea in view of the further levels?

It seems, they are also adding some sparkle and particle animations to the battlegrounds...
Maybe they are related to how to gain the road to victory?
Maybe some kind of (daily) challenge is added? As in: "Gain control of this province to receive Fragment(s) of Road to Victory"
