I write foe.com on my profile :

i go between e and the dot and add a space...

a strange character appear...

I have not been able to reproduce this. Has anyone else had this happen?

Write any text, use the left arrow key to move back and insert any character

Tried it multiple times, still can't reproduce this.

Using Firefox, strange character appears along with character pressed

Chrome, space character appears along with character pressed


Steps to reproduce:

1) Edit Profile

2) write some text in title line or below (for example "aaaaaaa")

3) left arrow key back to anywhere (such as middle of text written)

4) press another key (such as "b" or "." etc)

Got it, thanks. The behavior is slightly different in Chrome.

Couple of additions, the above for chrome should say "appears as a space". The "strange" character shows when switching back to Firefox, in chrome they just appear as blank spaces.

This also works with the Up arrow key but not with down or right.

Do note, you actually have to type some text before the arrow key is used for it to appear. If you edit and press the arrow keys it seems you are prevented from actually editing at all (nothing happens pressing any keys).
