Feedback Fall Event 2021

Yes. That's that.
Basically, for this event, I personally COMPLETELY IGNORE what does any of the cakes offer. I bake according to the ingredience required, so I have always the same amount of each, depleting them equally. It is the only way. If you focus on what you "want" from the cakes, then you can say bye bye to the maxed out building. It is either or.

Well I mean there's a little room for flexibility. For each ingredient you can keep in mind what you would like to spend it on, and what other things you should strongly consider buying if you start having too much of it.

i.e. my overall plan for balancing the goods while chasing specials:

Mostly it's sorted by efficiency, but some things had to move higher to balance it out. And because of randomness this still isn't locked in stone or anything - if I notice something's way ahead of the others I have to keep in mind what the best options are to use more of it up.

Daily challenge is a must if you want maxed out building for free. Mathematically it won't work otherwise.
I have 4 kits (level 5 now)... need 4 more:
1 kit from quest line
10 days of quests = 20 ingredients = one junk
10 days of daily challenge = 20 ingredients = 1 kit
I have 32 ingredients in the storage at this moment = add to it from 10x daily login (that I can't recall if it is 1 or 2 per day... Lets assume the worse case, only 1 = 42 in total = one more junk and one more kit ... BUT!! that includes unknown number of ingredients from incidents. I really do not remember...
And the last kit will be from the box from summer casino, which I haven't opened yet.

10 days of quests = 15 ingredients.
This year the Daily Quests alternate between 1 Ingredient and 2 ingredients so a lose of 10 to 11 ingredients on last year.

I won't get level 9 Golden Crops. Currently at lvl 5 and I'm 4 stars from a Grand Prize upgrade and on track to get another from the last daily quest. Plus 1 more from the Apprentice League if I'm still in it at the end. Since my city is only 3 weeks old on Beta, I don't have the event box which I assume provides another upgrade.

It looks like I may get the Grand Prize wishing well shrink kit, but no wishing well to use it on LOL.

Oh well I have so far managed to get a Harvest Barn lvl 1 and 3 Harvest fields. This adds some A/D boosts and some more daily goods. Also 1 Sentinel Tower and 2 upgrades.

All in all a nice haul for my 3 week old city, more than I expected going in.

I have now 10 caramels, and about nothing else -can't bake anything, so that's it. Not even near to 9th level of the building.

Yeah, that's what happens when you bake according to what prizes you want from the cakes. That is one thing you may not do if you want maxed-out building.
I did the same mistake when I played the event for the first time several years ago. But at that time, you could exchange ingredients 2:1 (same like you can exchange blueprints for GB) to get the missing ones. Of course, every player used that feature and Inno got zero diamonds. So after the first year of this event, Inno promptly canceled the exchange possibility and now the only way to get the missing ingredients is to buy them with diamonds.

So remember for the life server - DO NOT LOOK what the cake offers. Bake in the way so you are depleting the ingredients equally. Which is not possible every time, but try. Also, I'd suggest to NOT bake first several days until you have at least 10-15 ingredients EACH, so you have some buffer for the situations when for several rounds there isn't the one you have the most of at all.
That is, of course, if you want the main building. If that one is not interesting for you then by all means, pick and choose cakes which offers whatever you desires the most.

Yes, I have gone mostly for medals, my town needs more space to get anything fit. Wasn't that main building not so good to really bother?

Depends, it is your choice of course. I don't need anything. There is not a single thing from the prizes I would want or need (that includes medals and FP both of which I have abundance). So I play it just to prove whether I can or cannot do it.. for free. Just to find out in principle.
Every player must make the choice:
EITHER
you want certain prizes, go for it, but you'll end up with excess of certain ingredient while lacking another and your baking will stop prematurely = no way of getting the main building
OR
You want the main building, bake so you are depleting all the ingredients equally and ignore the prizes (= the junk :) ) And even that is difficult especially for people who to not have the mystery box from previous event.

You cannot have both for free. Of course, if you are willing to spend diamonds, then you can always buy the missing ingredients and keep baking and get it all and make Inno happy in the process. As I said - it is personal choice everyone has to make.

There's no point in having a main prize if you can't obtain it regardless of what value you place on the final building. Might as well test to see how viable it is to complete the building and then decide what you want to do in your main world(s)

I really don't like this event - I think this will be the first I skip on live - just making the quests and taking some prizes for the Dealer.

On one hand you need the daily challenges for getting the full event-building but on the other the quests in the DC suck - for beginners they are really hard - spending goods for guild - really? As a beginner you need them for yourself und events are possible before having guild so some of them are not possible to fullfill.

Inno should change that - making it not necessary to make all DC for getting a full event-building or change the quests in DC - being possible to fullfill for users who haven't reached guild, tavern and antique Dealer yet.

The increase in FPs from 7 to 9 is nice, but it's still quite low IMO. It's by far the lowest amount of FPs from a main reward building so far this year, and while I like the idea of a building giving fragments, I don't think many would consider it better than the likes of attack boosts.

Red line is the trend line. For events with multiple options for last level I took the average, and for buildings with a percentage chance of giving FPs I took the average number of FPs/day.

Appears to be countering the power creep but only on fp efficiency and looking on that trend, it's
an noticeable drop. Tough the pirates hideout (summer) fps at all at times, I assume you've calculated
average daily fp production for it and from that the efficiency? Just out of curiosity cause it's purely
a gamble building in regards of fps.
I think if the golden crops is upgraded a bit more to 11 fps/day it's efficiency will fall more in line with
0.46fps/square efficiency. Though 12 would be better with an efficiency of 0.5fps/square being as
efficiënt as an lvl2 SoK.

I guess it's just a "me" thing, but I am tired of all of these quest that want you to acquire sectors. That it what you did in the past and I ended up on the Early middle ages map while still in iron age. I'm not doing that this time. A couple here and there but there are too many, especially in the daily quest. I'll go as far as I can in the event but I'll skip any quest to acquire sectors that will take me to the next age on the map when I'm not ready.

Because you hijacked the primary function of the beta server.
As much here, it is interesting for Inno to have players of all ages because this server is useful for testing, as much on live servers the goal is to evolve through the ages and not to camp to become the little bully from the neighborhood.
I would like Inno to offer alternatives on the Beta server for these quests but remove them once they get to the live servers.
