Hi, I hope this post will be read by the developers, so I have not wasted my time.
This is only a first impression after about 6 hours of playing the game, it could be possible that I have a totally different attitude towards some points by tomorrow.
-The research functions are great, they also have to, as the game is practically based/advertised on/with this system. At the time, I have nothing to add to this feature.
-I don’t know what I should think about the map, I can conquer new provinces, but I don’t see what the benefits are, the second province gives a city expansion, which is great, but I want to see some changes after I grow my empire. Either have additional features like getting taxes or something else (This is a weak suggestion, but I really don’t know a better use of this feature).
The first province gives me the ability to refine trees, at a stage where I can only dream of building a lumbermill, in fact I can now conquer the 3th province and I am not even thinking about being able to build a lumbermill (probably the same for province 3 and others).
-Like xXStampsXx posted, being able to upgrade buildings instead of building new hardly different buildings would be nice, but this is probably mid to late-term priority.
-I don’t get the use of the population. Sure, I need population to build troops and buildings and I get population by building houses, but as the houses give me gold, I have to build a lot of them, so that I have way to much free population, which I don’t know how to use properly.
Suggestion: Separate the houses, which give population from a new building-style (goldmines,..) which gives gold.
-In the current form, the battle is great, although I hope for more multi-player interaction (see Multiplayer below)
After building up your city, do we have the possibilities to conquer other peoples cities? If not, there isn’t really a big time-frame where we can play. (I later on assume this is possible)
The army can presumably only be 8 men big, so the players have probably to get 8 men of each new military troop, so the spear fighter barracks (and any barracks below the most developed one) will get unnecessary.
Suggestion: Only 1 barrack where you can train all the troops you can research.
While using the ‘finish’ button, the com****r plays for me, and I see every move my army makes, but if I use this button, I want the battle to be faster and I want to see the report the second I click the button. The behavior is good in PvP, but for PvE, my suggestion would fit better.
-The tutorial was quite short, but it did a good job and explained the things I needed to know.
The quest are at the beginning really easy and straightforward, you can do the tasks in a few minutes until the quest ‘Build a goods building’, where the players need at least a few hours to get enough strategy points to research this building.
I wanted a smother translation between the easy quests and the ones that need at least 1 day of working/waiting.
Suggestion: Add more little easy quests and decrease the gap between easy and difficult quests.
-The little people walking on the streets are nice, but they appear from nowhere and disappear into nothing at the end of the roads.
Suggestion: The people should walk out of and into buildings instead of coming and going into nowhere.
-The inventory has little to no use, the only thing that was in my inventory was a city expansion. I hope we will get more items to use the inventory in future.
-This is the most important point I have, there is no real multiplayer experience. This game needs a good multiplayer experience, every online game needs social interaction and I really hope, you (InnoGames, Developpers) have learned something from SevenLands and get your stuff together.
Until now, I can see other players, their city and I can attack them. This is not what I understand if I talk about true multiplayer experience and this is not what I want the game to launch with.
The basics should already be in development, proper profiles, a proper ranking/stats, interaction(messages) and guilds(or tribes or allys,..).
After that we need multiplayer interaction in battles and cities. I want to be able to fight with a friend against an enemy (or more), furthermore want I to conquer enemies (if this is part of the game, see above) with friends and built up cities with friends.
The last suggestion is really difficult to develop and probably more we would have imagined, but you have to blow our minds if you want this product to be successful.
To get me right, you have to set the player interaction as priority number 1 after solving bugs, I don’t want to sound rude, but this is way more important than music or [insert random wanted feature](correct me if I am wrong, but Tribal-wars and all the successful browsergames started with a good multiplayer interaction not with music) and the current social features are compared to the competition rubbish.

Don’t get me wrong, I really like the game,I see huge potential and I don’t want to bash IG nor the developers for their work.
The features that I have not mentioned here are probably good enough or I haven’t found them.
